Stem Rot

Some of my ladies are developing stem rot issues. The plants are 6 feet tall. I've treated for root aphids but not ruling out they contributed to this somehow. I'm trying to keep the water 6 inches from the stalk. This is a problem we've had in this past and I really want to solve it.

I'm prepping to spray the entire garden with immunox tonight in hopes of its systemic activity helping out in case of fungal pathogen. Also prepping to treat the the soil once more for pests, tho no visible aphids or gnats. The sick plants tend to have ants crawling near the root zone which leads me to believe they are farming aphids.

The stem rot appears as soft brown spot at stalk base. I clean it with a h202 solution and monitor daily. It's only really screwed one plant so far so I still have time to treat this thing!

Thanks for the reply, is this a root drench or foliar application. Looking up the product now. Any worries of burn or or issues with it?

Root drench. When i used it. i didnt go by the directions. Just used maybe 8-10ml's in a 45 gallon res...

Personally wouldn't use it in flowering, maybe early flowering for a 70 day plant...

Thanks Nota, appreciated and I ordered the mefenoxam. I really need a soil test to see what the heck is going on. I didn't an early season treat with merit pro, I did a preflower treat with orthene/riptide (thanks eclipse) about 6 days ago. Started noticing the stem rot about week and a half ago. Pretty much ringed one of my stalks and that plant is not happy. It 2/3 ringed three other plants that I was able to catch.

At this point I'm watering 400 gallon pots with a light bleach and super thrive solution being super cautious not to get at all near the stalk to keep that area dry. Thankfully the upper canopy looks happy for now, its the root zone if focusing on right now.
