stem rot embolism ????

Hello all,

First time growing / cloning. I have 12 blueberry kush cuttings taken from a mother starting to flower. They are in root riot plugs in a dome. Temperature is steady @78 , I've been misting daily. One 2' t5 about 2' above and to the side.
Everything looks healthy except for little brown spots on some stems ( stems still very solid) . They will be 12 days old today and no roots. Am I just freaking out or do I have I problem. I'll try to get pics in the next day or two.

Thanks

keep them warm about 25c/75f max. avoid drowning them,... and study up Cambium,
as thats all cloning is but Cambium Engineering

I'd start weaning them off the misting. Key factors are temps/humidity 80/80, low light, don't water/mist root riots unless they start to dry out. Then sparingly.

I use 1 T5 tube 2' about 18" above the green with a layer of paper towel over the dome. Start misting the inside of the dome instead of the plants. Don't use 24/7 lighting, use 18/6.

If you see any signs of disease, mist plants incl stems, surface of root riots, inside of dome with 3 Tbl/gal of 3% Hydrogen Peroxide from the store. Keeping medium/plugs too wet is a common cause of failure. Good luck. -granger

Hello

Most have vibrant white roots now. No discoloration in the leaves , just the brown spots on the stems. I sprayed the entire plant with the hydrogen peroxide . will the brown go away or should I just toss them , I have no money invested in them just time

Smokie,
If they are healthy otherwise, and growing leaves and roots, and there are no new spots, they'll probably do fine. You've learned from this. It's your call. -granger
