start molding inside curing jar?!?

i cut and hang dry for 48 hr+ and trim down to put in jar to dry.
it was still very sticky and stem not bone dry yet. i did not blow any heat to it
i put in jar to cure for 2 weeks open for 5-10 mins a day and today i saw in the bottom of the jar there was some mold starting...?

what is going on? should i hang it to let it bone dry till the stem cracks then put in jar?
is the mold bad to smoke? how can i get rid of the mold?
i notice when smoking the bone dry med, it burns very fast and the sticky burns a little longer. do you prefer to smoke dry or sticky?

Bad to smoke mold. 48 hours is too short to dry - they need longer. Here is a good thread to read on drying and curing:
