stanely blowers

ive been out of the game for a few years and boy have things changed.

however I used to use a stanely blower to cool my room and also to to vent. they worked well in the past and it was like 08 when I learned about it from here. they worked well for me for like 2 years then I shut down due to some things.

im guessing that some of you guys started using them as well around the same time. anyone still use them? are they still holding up?

guess im asking for a lifespan

really? nobody remembers the stanely blower mod? or I guess the vets have upgraded or never used one

i've been using the same one since i started growing. i've probably had 8 or so grows spread out over 4 years.
it's started making noise recently and i may need to replace it soon.

what kinda noise? ive used several of them at work. some are louder than others out of the box. it sounds like the bearings in some are just loud, do they even have bearings? ive never dicected one. the one I bought in 08 sounds good and still moves lots of air. I got one on a carbon scrubber and one on a 400 watt cool tube. but im just growing scorpion peppers for now. no mj. in the future maybe but I figure if I can get away with chilies for a year then I can start growing the goods

it started knocking. nothing too loud, but i think it may be a sign that it is getting worn out.
i just started pushing air through the carbon filter, so i made a prefilter out of a window ac foam filter and after about a week of that it started knocking.
