St. Lucia - Anyone Been?

Was down there few years ago for a couple weeks. Locals are real cool. Only picked up once,, handed a rastamon 15 of whatever the local money was and he came back with a handful of schwaggy lookin stuff and a pack of papers. Smoked a huge joint with a couple friends, and maybe it was just the atmosphere and looking up actually being able to see stars and the beautiful ocean and landscape, but that weed had me flyin. Think the beautiful surroundings defintely helped, but it taught me to never judge a book by it's cover...or bud by its color.
Wanna reiterate how cool the locals were. Of course tourism provides the main economy for the island, but more so than other places I've been in the carribbean, all the locals seemed to GENUINELY want to help you have a good time while you are there. If you show genuine interest in their culture and island and put yourself out there, chances are you're gonna be shown great hospitality.

My neighbors go to St. Lucia every year - they said they look for guys standing around flipping small plastic baggies back & forth - guess it's a code and it works for them. They are supposed to be bringing me back some seeds next week - funny thing is they asked me if I wanted white ones or black ones?? I told them the smallest dark ones ---

ahh yes i was there for 3 weeks a couple yrs ago. everyone was super nice. the weed looked like crap but was very sativa and got me high as hell. 5 american got me around a half oz. my friend has family down there. the food is amazing they eat alot of beans rice and fish. which is why you never see a young fat local really.
the towns are pretty safe i did not feel in danger at all walking around, granite i was with locals but it still seems relatively safe. the beaches are beautiful. the nightlife is great every friday the one town throws a block party. with alot of alcohol girls and music so loud your ears will be ringing the next day. funny thing is they mostly listen to two types of music reggae and.......... country. i also suggest climbing the piton mountains the view from on top is great. i also suggest drinking alot of piton beer and bounty rum. well hope this helped and have fun.
