SSH diary for selection

Hello growers,

So here his my grow diary to select one or more keppers from seeds.

The strain is SSH from MNS.

Sorry for my English, do my best but with the few words i know.

I bought 2 month ago 2 SSH Pack. Something like 34 seeds.

Don't have any pics from the seeds, no camera yet, but here is the packs pictures :



Day 1

I put the 34 seeds in reverse osmosis water

T° : 26°C

Day 3

Put the seeds on the towel paper methode.
The first seed germinate.

Day 4

When the seeds show there radicle I put them in a jiffy pallet, and in a clone tray.

T° : 28°C
H : 85-95%

Day 7

33/34 seeds germinate. A very very good germ rate. (thanks ShantiBaba for this gift)

I only kept the 28 healthiest and strongest seedlings.

Day 12

T° is 20-15°C
HR : 50-75%

Soil + perlite + wormcast + shrooms + bacteria + guano

I watered with reverse osmosis water, with a spot of root up and humic and fulvic acid.

PH 6.3

For the SSH guru, how long, in average, ssh sex naturaly appens ?
and how many centimeters max before 12/12 for a not more than 1.8 meter high plant.?

It looks like you got things figured out and going. Great!

Your seedlings are looking very nice and vigorous. I think you are going to have a very interesting grow and selection.

My SSH seedlings are at the very same stage yours are. It will be interesting to compare threads throughout the grows. Although, I only have 5 sprouted, my seeds are femed F2's (yes, scary I know..lol) and hopefully will show me at least some diversity. I hope to find one of the hazier phenos as well as one of the indica leaning phenos (odds are pretty good to do at least one huh lol) But my seeds are cheap F2's and I have no idea if these are descended from Shanti's work, or RJ's attempts at copies.
I have a supply of these seeds and plan to keep running until I find what I want. I just don't have the space to do more than 4-5 at a time.

Yes, really interesting to compare your F2's and F1 from Shanti.
And for sure, if parents are good, you can be very surprised with F2. Even with only 5.

If you don't have place it's not so easy.

I have 1m² for these SSH but I always make an heavy selection.

On 33 that germinate I keep 23 for the moment.
After If there is a 60-70% fem ratio I keep 13 then 10 to flowering.

Something like that... It's never the same

Hi,

After a long time here is a fresh update :

I don't have any pics, but in a few days.

Day 30 :

Very strange : All the 23 SSH are exactly the same pheno.

I reach the fifth stage of leave with 10 cm inter-node. And the branch are quite inexistant : something like 1 or 2 cm for the biggest !!! incredible !

So I just switch to 12/12 4 days ago and I am afraid by the male ratio : for the moment 0 female (ok just 4 days) but there is already 10 male...

Is it normal that this plants didn't have any branch ??
