Joe, if that's the same PK you sent to me, then it IS Urkle, without a doubt. I have mine drying on a screen right now... If that's not Urkle on my screen, I don't know what is.

I know there's many Urkle clones mislabeled as Purple this, purple that... so it certainly wouldn't surprise me in the least. :)

Looking good Joe.
I just smoked some Lavender that was exactly like that PK.
I wonder if it is just Lavender.
It sure seems like it.
Anyway it looks killer.

Man I didn't want to say it, but CC is dead on, the first pics are definitely Urkle.

I can take a shot of the Humboldt Lavender this weekend, though it is outdoors, as I am certain it too is being "re-named" some kinda kush. I will also photo Outdoor Urk, as once they gain some size they are obviously two different plants.

Here are my findings on this issue, I have posted this up before.. so don't want to spam the page but damn, this is always coming up....

mothers from clone..

a little bigger

Erkle, SR71 Purple Kush, and Granddaddy side by side. All 3 similar, but different.

Erkle and GDP in bloom, GDP stretched more and smelled differently.

Erkle, SR71 Purple Kush, and Granddaddy side by side. All 3 similar, but different.

having grown all 3 of them out side by side, I can say for sure that they ALL have Erkle in their genetic makeup. I highly doubt that PK is a "Kush" of any sort. The fresh and dry nugs smell and taste different, but look identical. The living plants have different leaves, clearly different genetics by looking at their leaves... with exception of erkle and gdp. their leaves are pretty much ientical, except GDP does stretch more in bloom. I have noted GDP is a 3x stretch, when bloomed at 8", whereas Erkle is 2.5x, and PK is 3x.

Of the 3, Erkle is the best smoke, flavor, potency all around, but lowest yeilder indoors.

Also to note, when vegged long in my mother cab, the Erkle was totally overwhelmed by the Granddaddy. The GDP beat it out in veg in the long haul, easily recognizable.. Erkle stayed shorter and branchier, wheras GDP liked to put a little more space between it's nodes. The PK was started later, so it's not a fair "veg trial" but nontheless, the easiest to strain to say for sure is not Erk or GDP due to it's definatly different leaves. I would not rule out the Lavander hypothesis... but I still think she's so damn close to erkle, must have her as a mother... if not an S1.(?)

but I have never grown the humboldt lav, so no telling if it is PK or not. Something tells me, not.

this is K's PK, I doubt K is a fan of grabbing genes and renaming them for distribution(?).

Yeah, Joe, purple as it gets. :)

This one we have is Urkle, I know Urkle... this one's Urkle. There's only one Urkle. Urkle Urkle Urkle. I'm done growing Urkle though. She's nice, but she's not a team player, she doesn't like to keep up with the rest of the plants in the line-up. She always needs twice the veg time of the others to get to an acceptable height, and she doesn't stretch much in flower. Some of this may be due solely to the fact that the clone is very old. Clones from clones from clones for years on end takes a toll on vigor.

I'm pretty sure high times talked to the club owners at one point about the sr71 pk and they said that it was selected from ultra-violet stock from trichrome tech. AKA (urkle genetics) All I know is it is definitively superior than any urkle I have seen in yield and smell.
