This is a cross I made a couple years ago, have been growing it outside and have it in a few peoples gardens around my area. It’s a cross of Squanto(narrow leaf Afghani) and a Skunk Special 90 that I originally got from RSC.

This is the first time I’ve grown it indoors, we’re a few weeks into flower at this point. The Skunk Special that I pollinated to make the cross was very tropical looking/ sativa pheno but finished super early. The Squanto genes in this cross don’t really express themselves much, it’s very dominate towards the Skunk Special. It usually comes out tasting and smelling exactly like old school commercial Mexican from back in the 90s/00s which I loved and have missed dearly. Basically what this cross is, is a very early finishing sativa end product, it’s not trippy like a haze but it’s got the giggle inducing euphoria with no comedown and a super old school taste.

Within these 5 in the tent one is getting super tall, one is very short and bushy and the others are sorta in between, the squat one smells the most special so far, very incensey and mysterious smelling

would you say the skunk 90 was true to the description by being a low odor plant during growth, that smells herbal rather than skunky? Eager to try this for a hard to recognise profile potentially

That squanto also sounds very interesting, whered you come across that? -ah i see you mentioned that elsewhere. Sad its not out there for sale, but any info about the special sk 90's aroma and if its recognizable as skunk/cannabis smell would be amazing

I would definitely say that the description of the Skunk 90 on the RSC website is extremely accurate, I've never got any loud skunk smells from them at all, its more of a pleasant light floral smell on the plant that cures to a citrus when dried and cured. You could for sure grow the skunk 90 very discreetly The smell and taste however when you light a joint of the Skunk 90 is very nostalgic to weed from the 90s I remember .

The Squanto I got from an old grower I used to work for, it was his commercial strain that he would grow to supply people around here locally. Ive been doing seed increases of it every few years so I definitely have plenty of seed stock
