sprouting seed hull not detaching

i have a seed that has sprouted and the hull is not releasing can i just pry the hull off without hurting the plant?

You can do that. I have done it many times. You need to be very carfull. I have lost seeds doing it as well..

Yeah it's possible. I would spray it with some water for a bit before trying surgery though. Sometimes all you need is water and time.

^^^Third Coast has the right idea. A little water on a q-tip a couple times a day works if you dont want to spray. If you do have to perform surgery, I use a bent safety pin and a pair of tweezers and spread apart. Good luck!NS

its still going seems to be kinga slow but it took a long time to germinate , oh ya it is a green house church.
