HOWDY FOLKS THIS TOPIC WAS SUGGESTED BY RANDUDE 101 (GREAT IDEA!) SO...THIS IS HOW IT WENT AT CHIHUAHUA FARM... I GOT TWO BABY A.T.F. CLONES FROM THE LOCAL CLUB
IN FEB. I LET THEM HANG OUT BY THE WINDOW DURING THE
DAYLIGHT HOURS(ABOUT 9 HRS OF DAYLIGHT) AND THEN AT
SUNDOWN I PUT THEM UNDER A 4FT 4 TUBE T-5 FLOURO LIGHT
TO GIVE THEM 16-18 HRS TOTAL LIGHT TIME PER DAY. THIS WAS WORKING NICELY,FOR ABOUT 7WEEKS UNTIL MY BAD BACK HAD AN "EPISODE"( I BROKE 3 VERTABRAE WHEN I WAS 19, NOW A FEW TIMES A YEAR
IT HAS SPASMS THAT PUT ME IN BED FOR ABOUT A WEEK)
THE WARDEN(MY WIFE) WAS NICE ENOUGH TO WATER MY PLANTS BUT I DIDN'T WANT HER TO HAVE TO DEAL WITH THE
LIGHT.SO THEY WENT A WEEK ON ABOUT 10 HRS PER DAY OF LIGHT. BY THE TIME I WAS ABLE TO MAKE IT UP THE STAIRS
THEY HAD STARTED TO SHOW PRE-FLOWER CHARACTERISTICS
AND THEY WERE GETTING POWDERY MILDEW SO I BUILT AN OPEN-TOP GREENHOUSE STYLE GROWYARD OUT BACK FOR THE FRESH AIR AND DIRECT SUN AND PUT THEM OUTSIDE(HOURS OF DAYLIGHT AT THIS POINT,ABOUT 11)SO THE PLANTS START BUDDING,NOW THAT HOURS OF DAYLIGHT ARE ABOUT 14.6 I
PUT THE PLANTS IN A BASEMENT AREA THAT IS NEXT TO THE GROWYARD,DARK BUT WELL VENTED,AFTER 12 HRS OF LIGHT
THE PLANTS ARE IN 5 GAL. BUCKETS(EASY TO MOVE)AND ARE
ONLY ABOUT 3 AND 4 FEET TALL SO FAR SO GOOD READY TO HARVEST THIS WEEKEND IF ANYONE ELSE HAS SPRING HARVEST TIPS,PLEASE SHARE THEM WITH US THANK YOU
