spring harvest??

high all, i want to grow out side this year and was just woundering if i put the plants out in early spring after vegging them indoors for about 6-8 weeks will they flower before summer because the day light hrs are still short or will they stay in veg and not flower till fall?? thanks THEEHT...

Yes, it works well if you get the timing worked out.

Consider that your plant will need 60-70 for flowering and your plants will begin to regenerate in May. That means you have a window between early March and early May for flowering.

When you take your Spring harvest, leave the last couple of bud on the plant and you will get an large bush by Fall.

Your latitude and climate have a big influence. The lower the latitude, the later in May you can contine flowering. If your night time temperatures are near freezing, the plants growth and flowering slow down. If they freeze, figure on loosing a full month.

A heated green house is the hot ticket. ;)

high, thanks for the info. i have a greenhouse but it is not heated. (YET) think i'll figure that out. i plan on rooting and vegging indoors and then taking them out when frost is no longer here. thanks for the info THEEHT...

Heating is needed if your in a colder climate. A non-heated green house works just fine in warmer climates.

Good luck on you plans, I am doing it again this season.

this will also be my first try at a spring harvest and all i know about it came from the wisdom and reading of all of Stoners thread on OG!
