Spots on SEEDLING LEAVES

I noticed this today and have looked through the boks and searched through the Guide on here, but have come up short. It seems to be tiny yellowish/orangish spots on the leaves of my seedlings. I looked 2 days ago and this wasnt there. Can someone give me some info on what this might be. Thanks everyone.

Check for bugs ASAP. Go to the hardware store and get you a couple of No Pest Strips for some quick no mess bug prevention/fixin. Bug problems can fool you at first but when they happen they happen quick. Good luck.

Could be spider mites, check the underside of the leaves to be sure.

if there is nothing under the leaves then it's a PH problem.

You need to double your light wattage. You only have 10 watts per square foot right now and that stinks. Warm white and cool white mixed works best.

Mites? Check leaf undersides.

You need to give your seedlings some phosphorus and nitrogen. Certain guanos could be a natural source of this if this is an organic grow. (Depends on the type of bat and their diet) The kelp you gave them was a big boost of potassium and maybe minor elements. The dolomite lime is providing calcium and magnesium.

I got some NO PEST STRIPS this mornign so we'll see if it's mites. I'll also spray some neem on them asap. As for the NUTES. The LK and Kelp was just to get them going pretty much. I was just getting ready to give them some EWC and Jamacian Guano. I just didnt want to until I addressed the problem.

Nuggy - I was thinking some PH problems probably. I'm aiming for 6.3-6.5 range but havent wanted to stress them by raising it that much so soon in their lives. Trial and Error I guess. Thanks though

BV - the 10 watts/foot might be a little more. I have 6 total 2 bulb fixtures. So would this still be a factor...the low lighting? I'm moving next week anyways so shit's gonna be out of wack for a while anyways.

THANKS EVERYONE FOR THE TIPS.

BV the veg area is 4x5 so 20 sqft. 6 4ft 40 watt dual bulbs for a total of 12 bulbs. 12 x 40 = 480. 480/20 is 24 watts per sq. It's not much more than the 10 but a little better. Help you make a better assasment. Thanks again

Diet or mites was my concern for the seedlings and possible spotty look. The 20 watts per square foot is a good rule for veg to ensure sturdy seedlings and not little scappy whimpy ones. Try a guano tea rich in n and p.

I'll be mixing some up as soon as I post this. Would say 200-300 ppm be suff? I'm gonna try and keep the PH at 6.5 for the entire grow. But guess we have to take it as it comes. Thanks again BV

are there any other documented cases of these little spots being related to ph that we can compare to?

you can look at the thread i made, its called "pictures of my first baby, and i have questions". mine was all damaged by ph

your plant symptoms look different Jeane86. Where as SmokyMcPot's plants look like the chlorophil is being sucked out of the plant, yours look to be nutrient deficient. Hey Smoky, u get any results from those no pest strips yet? Whats the verdict?

I hang my strips up high in the grow, thinking the pheromones will drift down through the canopy. It took 3 days for my mites to disappear. I spent 2 weeks fighting nutes and what I thought was root rot to realize one day, dust doesn't fly(dumb ass here) up. Flipped the leaves and voilat little brown turds everywhere. Sometimes the simple things are so simple we overlook them.
