This plant is bagseed in miracle grow organic soil (yeah i know miracle grow, but I have used this before without problems, and these have been in it from seed and havent had any troubles until now)
They're about 2 weeks from seed now
Humidity is about 20%, temps are between 77 and 82

I haven't started feeding yet because I wanted to see what they would do in this soil, but I will feed tonight and see how they respond

Nice looking little girl(hopefully). Have you looked for bugs? Did you spill anything on it? Interesting blemish. Nothing like it on any other leaf?

there is a spot like it on one of the others so I'm assuming it is in fact a def.

Yep phos def. I see some yellowing lower leaves indicating nitrogen def too.

They should perk up after the feed, but the damaged parts will not mend. Look to see that these issue have stopped.

That soil needs more perlite, like 40%. They look droopy because the soil isn't airy enough. Is there drainage holes in the cups? Roots don't like clear cups. Once the encounter light they stop working.

Yeah the cups do have drainage holes

I gave them some all purpose plant food tonight and I'm heading to the hydro store tomorrow to pick up some Fox Farm ocean forest and growbig and they'll be transplanted into 1gal's tomorrow

So those pock marks are a phosporus deficiency, Heady? Trying to learn here.

Phosphorus normally does not leave pock marks like that, right now I can't tell if it's hungry or something else is wrong, he did not give much information on his growing details.......

If the plant is 14 days old and it's been in there since seed, it may not need to be fed yet with how small the plant it. Though I never used MG organic mixture, but used most of there other products.....

Most of the time when I see marks like that on the leaf, it is a mutation or something stressful happened to the plant like growers error or bug infestation.

NO! DO NOT transplant them into the fox farm ocean forrest, you will end up burning them man!
I would keep them in the mixture they are now and wait till they get bigger, if you feed them now, use 1/4 teaspoon per gallon of the grow big since it's first feeding.... do not use anymore for right now. When they get too big for the cups then I would put them into the fox farm, but if you already did..... you are going to end up burning them and you will have to end up flushing them out.
Are the cotyledons still on your plant? Can't see them from the pics......

Do those dull green blotches, along with the purpling of the stem not look like the beginning of phos def to you Stitch?

I think I am going to stick with phos def unless Stitch can convince me otherwise :D

See the thing is, I know I am not always right by far, I too thought that purple stems can be a sign of phosphorus, which it can, but I have also see it be a strain related problem which showed no signs on the leaves, but the stems were deep purple......

I think the problem may be with a mutation if he has no bugs.
I don't know what the green blotches are if that is what it is.....

Funny thing about that canna stuff....

they said that red stems were not an indication of phos def...

but they did say that red stem were a confirmation of sulfur def.....

and canna has a lab....

Again they expressed surprise about this because they thought that red stems were indicative of phos def....

Miralce Gro Organic Choice contains quick and slow release ferts. These particular plants are more fert sensitive than you last.
