Hello again Stich. Was hoping you could help me out, again. lol. When maininting 1500ppm of co2 in an enclosed grow room(with ac of course), can the co2 from the room signfictaly lower ph in a rec dwc system becuause the air pumps are pushing it into the buckets? I have never had my ppm and ph go down over a 24 hour period. The lower i start my ppm level the faster the ph and ppm will move down. If I leave set the ppm and ph at 500 and 5.8 when i retuen about 24 hours later it will be 420 and 5.2. I know you have said a natruall swing of ph is beneficial to the plants but this seams a little extreme.

I dont have pics right know but my plants have been showing a good amount of rust spots, particulary with the large fan leaves and lower leaves new groth looks good but after a week or so they start to show the rust spots.

Stitch -
Every thing seems much better now that the Nut. concentrate is down and my EC/PPM meter is calibrated. My current is 850 PPM. What I have notice is that the plants are all growing taller with less bushiness and more space between nodes. Any thing you would like to add would be great.

Hey konish, I Am sorry for accusing you, i thought for sure your post was a joke, I am not like that; I Am a nice person as you can see. In the past there has been people coming in the infirmary and making BS threads and it wastes everyone's time who try to help out.

Again I am very sorry for accusing you :(

How far away is your lighting now?
Great, see I told ya you gotta bring your ppms down, you go by the size of your plant when you feed them, not by the directions with the nutrients you have right now. Only certain brand nutrients do you go by the directions on the back and that is nutes cannabis specific.

Depending on how far away your lights are depends on how far the plant will stretch to reach it.

The other factor is what spectrum your lighting is and weather or not your plant has more sativa than indicas. Sativas natrual stretch some, more than indicas where indicas bushy out a little more.

update and a question

update and a question

Because of how tall our plants were getting I had to pick the 6 best females to remain legal and honestly having more room is very nice :). As you suggested Stitch I have been alternating been straight water and nutes, actually I have been using half strength nutes except for the Cal/Mag. I have ordered a CMH bulb and ballast and will be switching over to 12/12 once they have arrived.

Should I step up to the full strength of nutes and stop alternating straight water once flowering starts?

Should I continue full strength Cal/Mag?

Recommended nutes and current pic are below.

Beginning Flower - Buddha Grow 10ml, Buddha Bloom 15ml, Extreme Serene 10ml, Trinity 15ml, Ancient Amber 15ml, HP2 20ml, HPK 10ml

Hard Flowering - Buddha Bloom 25ml, Trinity 15ml, Ancient Amber 15ml, HP2 30ml, HPK 10ml

Thank you

No, wait one week into flowering before you change anything over to bloom ferts.

PLants don't start to change over night and neither does there feeding change to bloom, they still use veg ferts for a little bit after the switch.

What wattage is your new lighting?

After you get your new lighting and they have been in there for a few days and you have it at the correct height, would I only adjust the feeding gradually, those plants are near perfect happy except for the one in the bottom right corner. That is how you want your plants to look, the only thing I see wrong is nitrogen is on the border of not being enough. Those leaves are stretched out straight and perky, this is how you want them; they are happy so do not add or remove anything else, except a little more nitrogen. If they are having nitrogen problems now, do not flower them until you get it taken care off, you want them to have at least enough for half way flowering.

The dosages you listed is nuts, if you use all that, you got to add up all the values and % when combined together.. That amount will burn them for sure, based on what they look like now with how happy they are, you will more than likely burn them at that dosage, you want to go to the size of the plant with the amount of food.

Gradually increase to that amount, you can also alternate, people should only pick out around 4 or 5 nues tops

you got your NPK, micronutes, bloom booster and root stimulator( which should only be used sparingly depending on the product), pick the ones you will like and rotate since you have so many.

After flowering begins and if your lighting is stronger only then increase by slightly more, the more light the more food they will need.

increase by 1/4 more for each amount you are already using.

Thanks Stitch, the CMH is 400w, should have everything by Monday per tracking info. Thanks again, you always make me feel so much better, ahhhh less stressed :)

I thought those doses seemed really high, I will take it slow and add some nitrogen, should I use nutes every time or still alternate with straight water?

You could alternate if you like, but it's always good to give a good flush every now and then; since your feeding is so far apart it's always good to have a water inbetween.....

I would keep it the way you have it now, you don't have too; but it's a good idea to do so.

Glad I could be of some assistance :)

Even if you can't get in a full water in between, little water is better than no water at all.

more nutes added, more left overs will be in the soil that need flushed every now and then.

Your plants look really good and happy now though thats for sure!!!

Since I have already given the nutes this week is there a good way to up the nitrogen when I use straight water next time? Or is there a foliar treatment I could use?

Do you have any nitrogen only ferts?
Foliar feeding will hold it off only for so long...... when they suck up that water with nitrogen in it, that will be it, so you can foliar feed, that would most likely be better and then next time you can up it :)

fish emulsion is perfect for it it;s not expensive :)

And it is readily available too :) Picked up a bottle and new spray bottle too. You ever foliar feed fish emulsion? Whew we that stuff do stink something fierce, but it is a small price to pay for my babies. I will post new pics in a couple days but they look better already. Thanks, Stitch :joint:

Hey konish, I don't see a on going problem right now, besides the curling under of the leaves. Did you get your tds./ph stuff worked out with new pens?

What color are your roots?

Hey major, ya it does have a odd odor that I do know :)
Np, hope to see them soon, keep me posted!

I watered using straight water and ///EDIT/// 20ml/gallon of fish emulsion last night and they seem to be looking pretty good to me.

I am getting my 400w CMH tomorrow and plan to set it up and veg for another week under 18/6. Do you think this will be long enough for the nitrogen problem to be cleared up and ok to go into flower?

Pics below and close up pics of possible problems in my sig, thanks as always.

Sorry, more questions. :smoker:

A friend who has grown quite a bit looked at my plants and said the pots are too small and I should step up to 5 gallon pots/buckets and I was looking for some feedback. They are in 3 gallon pots now.

He also said he would expect less than oz per plant and I was wondering what you all think.

Any advice on a reasonably priced (>$100) PH meter I can use now and later for hydro? I will be using it to check tap water and run off, not the soil.

Thank you.
