Hi guys,
I recently got problems with mites but got rid of everything. Anyways I decided to start from scratch and got 2 seedlings that are close to a week old but and I can see kinda like brown spots on some leafs but not too sure if its mites or some sort of deficiency. Too bad I don't have pics but was hoping someone can show me a picture of the first signs of damage from spider mites on leafs.
thx

the mites should look like sand or black specks of grit on the bottoms of leafs.

grab a papertowel and wipe the leaf if there are red/black streeks thoes r dead mites u just killed/smashed.

Too young for a deficiency but it's possible that it's too wet. Get a good magnifying glass and look closely at the plant and if it's mites you'll see the lil fucks cruising around.

Mites leave white specks on the leaves...generally affecting the older ones first and looking like paint overspray. Brown spots means your PH, nutes or watering are out of whack - or you foliar sprayed them with something and burned the leaves.

FEW!! It aint spider mites but I still don't get why I get those brown spots THAT early. They are just starting their 2nd leaf set after the first circular shaped ones. Only the first REAL set of leafs are affected but anyways, the PH is always at 6.5 (soil) so that cant be the problem, now Im thinking magnesium or calcium deficiency so I foliar fed them cal/mag and so far (18 hours after) It seems to have slowed down (found 2 more spots only).
I might be getting more spots though because I see more spots that are light green but has not turned brown yet.
