Spidermite problem in week 8 of flowering

Hey guys,
I'm so close to harvest (about 8.5 week into flowering)
2 days ago I saw that alot of fan leaves had changed colour and had some kinda brownish spots on them. Took a closer look with the loop and it was black insects on the buttom and top of those leaves. I just brushed em off and pulled some leaves but today I found alot more of them :( aswell as spider web on the lower branches and buds and I even found some top cola leaves had these insects on them so I had to spray the plant and the nearby plants with neem oil as it had spread to one of the branches on diferent plant I kind of paniced.

What should I do now? should I spray them tomorrow again with neem oil or it's bad to get it on the buds. SHould I maybe harvest it all a bit early?
What else can I do to get rid of them? I'm thinking about pulling the plants that have about 20% amber tricomes.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

well I'd say you fucked up bad spraying Neem on them so late in flower. You just ruined some potentially nice bud. sorry to be a downer, but that's the shortest answer. You should have harvested a little early...coulda at least had something worthwhile to smoke on instead of neem flavored yuk.

I agree.......neem will impart a nasty taste on your buds this late in flowering.

Buy yourself some Mighty Wash or Nukem, both of which are safe to use thru out flowering, will kill the mites and eggs, and not damage your buds (or taste) at all.

It's just one plant thats been sprayed all over not all of them.
so should I harvest all the others now or let them stay in the tent? Or is there a chance they can survive 2 more weeks without getting infested by spidermites?

Take all the fans and smaller leaves off and monitor them. Never spray anything with only a couple weeks left.

Hi !

I would say it like PriznnPlanet: Take all bigger leaves off.

I wash my plants with clear water from a sprayer (even in flowerperiod), if I have mite problems. But the weather have to be good ! And for the taste it is important to clean the buds with water, to wash the mites and some eggs away. I make it in the shower with a smooth an mid warm water jet.

After a few days of drying, some mites will hatch out from the eggs you can't get off. When you hang the plants upside down and on a thread, the mites will run around there or cluster on the trunk (upside). Burn them with a lighter or wash them away etc. .

Good luck !

Sorry for my english ;-) !

This works with pure water, nothing else...Bug Blaster Sprayer. It is a hose nozzle attachment the sprays water 360 degrees--which blasts the little shits off the leaf's underside and top. I used my hand to shield the flowers (don't want those blasted!).

Since it is attaches to a garden hose it will be an outdoor job and looks like this--

I kind of got them under controll now. Been plockin fan leaves and checkin twice per day under the leaves etc. They are lower in numbers now after I sprayed them with a antispider mite organic spray which had lemon type of smell cant remember the name a friend let me use his bottle.
