Spider Mites on OG Kush day 78

Dammit! I don't know where they came from. My 2 huge OG kush plants have been happy and clean thru 30 days of veg and 78 days of flowering...they still need about 5 more days and i just saw a web covering my fattest top cola (noooooo!). What would you guys do? I know I can't spray anything b/c of bud rot and its just too late in flower. Would you try to hand remove the webs? Is there a way to organically scrub them after harvest and still enjoy these big nugs? This is killing me to wake up to...Please help. Thanks. Also would you harvest the two plants early...I've got 65-70% red hairs and trichs are 60% clear 40% cloudy. I know its a little early not to mention I want more of an indica dominant plant. Note: there are no other plants in the room right now, its not like anything else would get infected, just want to get as much personal stash OG smoke as possible without smoking nasty spideys (and trying to not cut them down early considering how long theyve taken to get this far). Thanks so much to everyone!!!

try vacuum cleaning. And hang the entire plants upside down, that w3ay the mites go to the only spot where its still moist.....the place were you cut the stem, they all climb to that spot. You actually see a black spot (mites) on the end of the stem.

hope i explained it well, english aint my first language.

Yea I would let them finish and vacuum them then gas that room with some argon for a couple of days.

ive seen a few threads over at ********* where dudes are harvesting when hairs are still 50% white. http://www.*********.com/forums/f54/chemdawg-d-x-og-kush-sfv-569/index13.html (*********)... I know that youre supposed to go by trichomes and I am but something bothers me about chopping when 30% of hairs are white. Any thoughts are GREATLY appreciated. Thanks guys. This site has helped me so much thru my first grow...Someone said white hairs turn orange/red after chop anyways...is this true? Thanks again everyone.

how infested are you?

do you run c02??

anyone you can crank your c02 up like a mofo for a few hours after lights out???

that should choke out most all of the mites and allow you to get the webbing away without spreading live mites.......q tips work well.....I know youre worried about bud rot but if you can find a way to spray FINE mist on the nugs to expose and "illuminate" the webbing it will make it easier to remove, although it will still be a pain.

thanks. Doesnt look infested too bad. (only on the biggest cola of the two plants of course...). But who knows with these little f*ckers. Been fighting em all the way thru...treat em 3-4 times, they dissapear for 3-4 weeks ( i check every other day). Then theyre back... I am ready to do that flea bomb thing where you gotta leave your house for 24 hours. Supposed to undoubtedly kill them all. Just waiting till my flowering plants are done in 3-5 days. Then gonna do the bomb on all the veggers. Thanks all.

Putting flea bomb anywere near you buds and yu will be smoking that same stuff bro, dont use that, just check the everyday, try to spot them under leaves and close to stems.
The white pistils on the bud mean its not ready to harvest, the 'hairs dont have anything to do with the high, its the tricomes you focus on, the cloudy tricomes give a head high, and the amber ones create a body high, if you are looking for indica highs you should let the majority of tricomes to turn amber, but do that on another grow, chop that as soon as tricomes are to your preference.
Peace
