forget nuke anything, neem oil will do fine but you have to do some work yourself. go your plants through with for example coffee filther dipped to neemoilmix. you have to be very careful to get everything covered. remove the most infested leaves.

in future use neem oil every 3 days through veg and first 2 weeks of flowering. i wouldn't add anything after say 3,5-4 weeks of 12/12

hope this helps.

i have used stuff with Pyrethrum called bug stop but now i think they changed their name. it says you can use it on veggies and eat them or pick them the same day. the thing is i havent figured out if you have to wash it off before you eat them:yoinks: if so, how would you wash off the buds?
i have used it anyway on plants up until about a week or even less before i pulled them. i think it's spozed to just evaporate. i figured that by the time they dried out and got burnt it will have been long gone. i havent had any complaints from anyone who smoked it, however i think it gives it a worse flavor and smoke smells sortof like ivory soap. i don't know if it was the Pyrethrum or what.
i also dont know why mynamestich has on the bottom of his sig, not to use oils. i assume neem. i have found the recommended dosage of Pyrethrum didn't kill off all the bugs very well so i started using alittle more,PLUS neem oil and it totally wiped them out good. but i have only sprayed that on in the veg room, not so much on any buds.

I'm pretty sure neither of those products should be used in flower... (neem or pyrethrum). I wouldnt use pyrethrum in veg either. Unless you remove all the plants outa the room before u spray it. My buddy ArtofMaking fire bombed his area with a bug bomb and it really messed up alot of the plants.

I think for flower... you're only options for the borg are NPS (no pest strips).... although i wouldnt use those the last month of flower. If you haven't started flowering yet, the neem is safe, same with Floramite.... I dunno if its still on there, but Floramite has been on Ebay lately in very small, affordable portions. 1/2oz for 20 bucks shipped.

yeah, no neem in flower, not to the buds at least. i consider the first 2 weeks of 12/12 is not necessarily yet flowering so it's ok to keep using it then. when the buds start to form, it's time to stop. if it was bad you could carefully wipe the larger fans with neem.

one thing that came to mind is ladybugs, get some of them in your room if ya can find.

If you have had problems with spider mites in flowering, the first and most important thing to do is clean the area that you do it in. Scrub the walls, floor, and even the ceiling down(anywhere them bastards can hide)with a bleach and water mix. Now that it is clean, the only place that they can be is on your plants/and or in your soil(When ever I get a new batch, I bake it at around 250 degrees for an hour to sterilize it). Get some beneficial mites(from the grow shop or online) and let them go to town on your plants. They will decimate the spider mite population in a few days(with no bad sprays). Every time that I have bought them, they come in a tube that has enough to last a few crops, so use it kind of heavy the first time(you may have to re-apply them down the line), and wait a week or so. If you still have spider mites, add a few more of the beneficials to your garden.

lady bugs and spraying every leaf down with warm water every couple of days but nothing else in flower IMO...

i've done the prescription treatment pyretheum foggers in both veg and flower as late as mid week 4. that, coupled with a spray routine of neem @ 5ml/L + ivory dishsoap @ 5ml/L every 7 days kept the mites at bay. didn;t get rid of them, but kept them way under control until i was able to finish the flowering crop. I stopped spraying neem at wk 7, and gave the plants 2 good rinses of plain water over the course of a couple days to wash off any excess neem residues for shits and giggles. kept everythig workable IE NO MAJOR WEB SYSTEMS just the leaf dots....

I have picky persnickity patients and no one commented negatively about that crop's flowers.

once that crop was cut and moved from the room I hit everything i had in veg with 20drops per L floramite sc. i haven't had any mite issues since. been over a year.

some folks experience mites that are resistant to floramite... haven't run into them knock on wood.

good luck whatever you do... just win the war!

Incorrect. There are sticky traps that can be used to monitor and too some degree control. NPS are posion, and they work. Make sure to leave ventilation off, else not so much.

Me? I use then for 4-5 days, at lights off with vents off, when I feel i have an issue. So far no mites but thrips and some fungus gnats.

I just had a nice battle with the mites guys and if ya use the NPS use way more then ya need , I don't shut my blower off ever so it takes me alot more and they don't work right away but they do seem to slow them down . Best of luck in this war

the real key here is what are ya gonna do with your clones/veg/moms. I say take everything down to clone size then go with a proper Neem Regiment.

that means concentrated Neem mixed to double strength of the directions applied every three days.

THE KEY TO MAKING THIS WORK IS THAT EVERY AREA AND SURFACE OF YOUR GREEN PLANTS ARE PROPERLY SPRAYED. miss one or two eggs and the life cycle starts again.

that is why it is so difficult to control mites in flowering or in veg with big plants there are always places for them to hide.

you also have to go crazy with your neem cleaing your space so that no eggs are left around.

peace

ya gotta try not to burn the plants if the neem is mixed to strong or applied to heavy and if your gonna go that route I think Floramite will work much better .

try dr.dorights... www.drdorights.com - - it really works best product IMO for late flowering - its comparable to Ed rosenthal's new product but does NOT use the same science....it's really cool - - - definately recommend it
