Speed Queen & others - 70w HPS

Here I'll present my grow. It is only a hobby grow, as most of my bud comes from outdoors..
The box is planned to be stealth, only with the smell I'll have problems.

I have:

Speed Queen (Mandala Seeds)
Easy Bud (Female Seeds)
South African Durban Poison x Skunk #1 (freebie, Sam the Skunkman)
+some outdoor mixes

Looking good so far my friend. Are you doing just two plants under the HPS? I think that would be a good idea. If you're having trouble with smell you should look into an out side carbon scrubber to filter the air as it comes out. Red_Greenery has a good setup he uses. Check the Micro Grow section to see. I think he uses it in both the Tub and the Cab setups he has.

How would you rate Mandala Seeds? I know you've grown Speed Queen out before, so I'd like to get a quality check on them. Mandala Seeds' prices are nice and their product looks to be equally appealing. I'm just trying to get an idea. I'd love to grow Hashberry and Speed Queen.

I did't growed SQ out... I just planned to do this year some SQ outdoors, but I decided it will remain indoors, i have some really nice outdoors mix to put out.
But based on what i observed indoor, looks like a nice strain to grow it out. And as they say it's a resistant plant, I think is the perfect chice, both indoors and outdoors.

Thanks. I know it's ok with the fan leaf bud, I sow it in the forums allready... in fact, I'm happy I also sow it in my grow.

Nice looking mini grow, I am doing a two plant grow right now to finish off my summer, I expect them done about mid July. I have been trying different techniques with my plants as I am fairly new at growing still, I want to find out what works.
I will be back to check out the progress here

Hey man nice grow. I was lucky to order some speed queen's from mandala. It is really a great strain, with excellent vigor growth, the roots grow so fast, I transplanted a small clone to a 2L bottle and she has filled up the roots in already 5 days, crazy.

The rootball of my speed queen plants expanded a lot the veg stage, for example by the time the first row of true leaves appeared the 2.5 litres pots were almost potbound.

Looks like you've got things working well for you. I noticed you added two cfls to the reflector, that ought to bring the watt per square foot up a bit, nice. Hardly any power draw at all. Good work
