On a plant my friend has going outdoors the buds look very well and healthy but is very far from finishing, it appears to be very sativa, I've never grown outdoors or a sativa so my question is, will it start to tighten up in the later flowering stages and cooler weather or is there any nutrients that could help him pack on the weight with his buds? thanks all, I only have a couple of pictures from the plant in veg it has since grown and started budding in fla since late may.....anyone got some love and advice thanks.

if its very sativa it probably stays airy. its just how they look. nothing wrong with it.

just hope it finishes before frost.

sorry to steal the thread but i was wondering about the frost, you should harvest before the frost or after? like say the first frost here is in september and the plant is supposed to finish in october what should i do?

I've heard that you can get your plants to finish with no problem before it is in a hard freeze more than twice, besides that a strong plant should bounce back...thanks for the product suggestions, thats what I was looking for....anyone know the "legality" of advanced nutrients cause I heard something somewhere once about a dude was questioned or busted after a purchase...or SOMTHING? am I stoned out of my gourd and wrong? thanks in advance.

from the info I have gathered from books and following ed rosenthals instructions, plants are effected at 40(F) at which point it will take 48 hours to resume regular growth.
