Would herb grown in space, outside the protection of our atmosphere, exposed to UV rays, and possibly in a near zero-gravity environment be better (potent, trippier, grow faster, etc.)?

I think the ideal environment for cannabis growth is one that mirrors the type of conditions that the plant evolved in. Space might not work out so well.

NASA will be conducting an orbital experiment Dec 2015 using 735 watts LED aboard the space station with garden plants as a habitat experiment for not just food comsumpton but also recycling carbon dioxide to breathable oxygen. The cab for first experiment is 21" x 36" x 24". Water & nutrients will be injected into the medium plate while instruments will collect advance data. Hopefully an experiment with canabis will be conducted within our lifetime. Can you imagine an SSOG (Space Station Of Green) of the finest galactic buds. Probally would be fluffy regardless due to no gravity IMO.
