Welcome Boys and Girls,

Cannot express how excited I'm to run these. Having lived in NY for many years, I used to get some bomb ass sour diesel back in 2004-5. My homie used to work at wycleff studio and he used to have the sour connection. Needless to say that was one of the best herbs I had the pleasure to puff. Now fast forward to this year, a few failed attempts at scoring the SDBx2, I was lucky enough to score a pack...

I have run a few packs from Karma before and needless to say, Karma is one of my favorite breeders, always delivering extreme heat in every pack!

So here I am, sharing my experience by opening this thread to document my Sour D Bx2 run. I scored them from speakeasy, unfortunately, it didnt come with the Karma packaging, but I hope they are legit.

I started all 12 seeds. Got 10 to pop and 1 is a mutant. They are almost 3 weeks old. I did over fertilized the first week or so and they got stunted a bit, but they recovered nicely and are growing strong now!

Few days ago I repotted them to 2 gallon grow bags of organic soil mix and flipped them to 12/12. I will be taking clones once the stretch initiates. Hopefully I'll pick a male and make some f2's as well and a few hybrids...

Ill be posting pictures once things get more interesting!

Alright, fast forward 2 weeks into flower or so, and we ended up with 5 females and 5 males... Gonna do some selected open polination on some branches once the males drop some pollen... The males were chopped and placed on a cup of water and separated to another room to collect the pollen, havent quite dropping yet, but a few more days we should see some!

Nothing too excited yet, but the plants are looking great, healthy, a bit stretchy cuz I have to keep the lights higher than I hoped for, but not a biggie, this is just a pheno hunt run and some f2's production, hopefully Ill narrow down to a keeper or two and then I'll get them big to run them for flower production on the next round!

Sorry for the lack of pictures, but once things get hot I'll share some! :)

So here's a proper update!!

They are around 3 weeks into flower, some a bit more than others... you can see the exact dates on the labels... They look happy and still stretching a bit and starting to form flowers. I've been training them for the past few weeks, LST and supercrop, to try to make them branch out and also defoliating a few leafs here and there to help light penetration. I'm running pretty much 1x 50w LED COB for all my plants right now... In a week or so, I'll have some more space available, but for now, thats all they get...

Most are in 2 gallon grow bags, one of them in a 3 gallon fabric pot. Organic soil, mostly water only and malted barley/EWC mixed into the water!'

Here are some shots from the garden!

SD#8, one of the branches almost snapped off, was hanging by a thread, but I tied it good to a stake so its still going strong!

Quick update, I'll try to snap some shots tonight!

Plants are doing great! Very very nice work Karma! I have a few potential keepers that smell like that good ol sowaahhhhh they are amazing beautiful smelling! Man I'm so happy lol Still another 2-3 weeks to finish but they look amazing!

I was able to clone all but one of them... Gonna try to get another cut just in case...

#8 was the first to rooted, they need to do a bit of revegging but it was very quickly to root and it seems to be the most sour smelling!

#5 and #10 are also very good!

Can't wait to grow these on big pots with good veg time and have some monster sowahhhs!

Sowahs, not the best pics, they still have another few weeks to finish up but they are looking dank as hell and smelling even better, that classic sowaahhh gas smell... #8 is my favorite so far, but a few others have potential as well!

Not the best run... but we got clones revegging and after picking 1 or 2 phenos, they should be ran properly in a nice big pot with some organic soil...
