this is my own cross done awhile back. my first run with the cross. over all most plants produced very poorly, BIC pen sized strands of bud. some as long as 8 inches at the ends of the buds. all the plants had thick trics, up front diesel aromas, and most all the diesel taste. few plants have a nice sour note, all the early candy aromas are gone by harvest.

this is the #5 plant, the thinest calyx of um all, tied with the purple plant for the most miserable yield.




as with all the plants, crack the jar and the whole room is reakin in short order, stinkin ass diesel. bustin up the .........cracklin herb....cant call these weeds bud, lol. you get a few different aromas from all the plants, some strong diesel to a haze, tart, spicy, even some grape tones. the sour deez really tossed alot of different aromas in the cross.

this #5 plant has a citrus almost lemon, mellon aroma, that slight sweetness in there. the smoke is a dirty thick smoke thats smooth, with a floral tone in there. enough to make it ok to toke. unmotivational (that a word?) head, its a head buzz that makes you want to do much of nothin, space out on all kinds of shit. a great time waster. this plant was taken down at 13 weeks.



this plant is the #7, some color came on late, and if left longer may have darkened alot more. took it down at 14 weeks. all the plants were flowered at 78 to 85F. no cool temps induced.





this plant had the heaviest/thickest calyx, nice pink hue as it finished up. a sour somethin aroma, sweeter rhubarb type smell, smells fuckin great, lol.





man it was tough to get these plants dry, without overdryin, which is my specialty nice tasty floral dirty/ danky type taste, tough to pin down. pleasent enough to wanna go again. pretty steathy weeed to carry around, cause no one would believe you it was pot, LOL.



so over all a nice cross for a one time grow, haze dominated the growth and bud formation, added some duration to the sours head, no head bangers, no paranoia, although one of these plants made me a bit gaggy first time out with her.... retains alot of the SDs aromas and type of high, minus the hard punch right off of the SD.

theres a few growers that will chime in on the buds, and ill yammer on about the other two soon.

an interesting combo led to interseting smokes, magin that,lol..

have you noticed any familiarities to any other smoke that I can relate with? mabey the OPT? that one came to mind here when reading yer SR..
Purps often carry a similar aroma/flavor regaurdless of strain to strain imo.. effects obviously varry.

hey all thanks for the comments, greatly appreciated. hopefully some others will chime in as there tasty testers show up....bub.......then we can see what others actually think. they may suck for other growers, lol. for sure some ugly ass weed in a sack.

H&L..no help at all in the yield dept, the haze i grow makes the same type buds, with the foxtails, but only like a inch above the bud, these for whatever reason, food, lightin, waterin i dunno but they busted out long ass foxtails.

limey green.. theres F2 seed done, as soon as a SD cut gets a little bigger, im gonna try some old frozen haze pollen, the original dads, and have SHaze pollen from the F1 males to go back to the cut with. maybe more F1s, and a BX1 for sure.

hopefully a BX might phatten um up.

How you doing CBF? Nice report man. That last one sounds fine. Some strains just dont mesh well. I'm certainly glad it was at least good enough for a one time grow. I hate when I grow strains and they turn out like shit. Thanks!!

its been a few days since ive smoked any green,(have some bubble bag hash)
pure sativa high, no couch trippy ..
i have only been able to smoke two large bowls all day.
i have smoked pheno #6 and it dont have the best taste but its good
the high is imidiate and creeper .. i am more used to indica but this is pleasant..this is a more clear high then manga rosa
definatly growing out some of these.

yeah as with any plant, a longer veg would produce more. think these were vegged for 5 weeks. got to about 30 inches, cut in half, vegged till had some new stem and leaf goin, and flowered. prolly go ape in the tropics.

Hola Smokey, nice of ya to stop in. yeah, these yield so bad, there a one timer just to check out the smoke. i think more experienced growers as yourself, and a 1K or more, they would produce quite abit more.

Noob, good to see you out and about, 13/14 weeks is a walk in the park, hehe, im spent on the straight sativas for a bit. grow some shit that yields for awhile.

so heres what im tokin with my coffee this am, plant #8. full on purple plant, bud, stem and leaf. just a plant of foxtails really, tops of the plant looked like it had dreadlocks.





has a jolly rancher type aroma, i keep thinkin theres a grape tone to it, but its prolly cause its purple. bustin up the buds, and the weed is almost black in the piece.



the taste is new for me, and im pretty sure its what purple tastes like, kinda musky tart purple? its not bad, just different. in keepin with the Haze side, the smoke is thick, expansive and tickles the nose.



more up alert head, smoothes up on ya, not a strong sensation, by the end of the bowl ya feel your high, just didnt feel it commin. its not the most potent of the bunch, but its not the worst either.

i know im saving the lil bit of that #8 for a while. looks fantastic. smokin #5 nice sour d taste with a hint of haze,feelin the head right off ,makes my head zoom.
definatly like #5 think i like the taste better then #6
got 5 beans so far total

if i get any seeds of that black bud(8 and 4?) im growing that for sure.

CK, the #6 isnt very tasty, it was the big yieldin plant, and for me i get a coffee aroma from it.



even got a little light burn. out of all of um, i think it is the hardest hittin to the head right off.

the #5 had great aromas all through flower, had the sourest aromas. prolly the best taste. but the bud was real skrawny.

So far Im lovin #7!!! alotta the SD came thru on this one imo, and is the most potent of the samples.

#8 has that purple purfumed aroma and flavor.. While #6 is the Hazy'ist, peppery..
