Ok peeps i was gifted this smoke from a buddy who i rooted the cut for a while back......i dont have any pics as i was too eager to smoke the bud and forgot to take any.
The smell of the bud is very, very much like the lemony pheno of NYCD, the difference in taste is that the SQ has a slight amonia undertone to her....the real fragrence is the soft lemony type, not a citrusy type of lemon and there is a nice sourness to the general aroma.
The taste is sour, lemony and has a faint kind of sweet orange/tangerine after taste with a burts of sour/bitterness which lingers in the mouth.
The buzz starts with a nice headyness and heart beat in apparent, gradually the stone creeps into the body and the headyness becomes stoney too, then its kind of heavy behind the eyes and on the head and really gets ya slouching.
Overall its a nice smoke with a pleasent buzz(slightly short lived), it is however very similar to NYCD and while not a bad thing its could be if you have grown it of were hoping for something more ECSD, i can only guess the male used was NYCD dominant.
Anyway hope you all like the report, i will get some pics off my buddy and post em up on here soon.
Peace

Nice report mate..
Sounds similar to the Dankouver..would you say?
i thought the dank was a ECSD x but im thinkin lately after smokin Marleys NYCD that the Dank is a NYCD X not ECSD...peace

Nice report True, How you doing? I enjoyed your report. As I grew out Sour Queen I identify with your analysis. I lid let my plants go long so I got more body, with my uplift. I can't tell by your pheno's though. As I had very ecsd based pheno's. Very sour fuel smelling and had large buds from it's mother the Killer Queen. It really goes to show you that growing enviroment is everything.

Im really curious as to the selection and choice of father used in this cross, i have no doubt you recognize a ECSD pheno when ya see it Smokey so it makes me even more curious as to how my buddies was so similar to the NYCD.....im thinking maybe multiple males were used from the DSD line maybe? Im sure Rez will pass by and let us know, either way its an interesting cross with undoubtable quality in its genetics.
Peace

I'm growing SQ right now..and cant wait till its ready

I've heard it was 4 DSD males cross with KillerQueen to get this result

I got me a purple stemmed SQ male even before his pollen was released,,,then compared it to SQ and SDV3 females and they have purple stems too! :woohoo:

This is a SourQueen
