Additional comments:
When I was first handed this sample I was immediatly put off by the appearance of this bud. It was loose on first glance, the nuggets seemed light and missing a core. The buds had twisting foxtails that were fatter than the rest of the caylxes on the bud (if that makes sense.) There were many dull pastel colors throughout the sample. The smell was a mix of the two parents almost perfectly. I could smell the musky tones from the jack and the sourness from the Sour D which intensified when I broke the bud two fold. The smell on this is something different I don't get to try very often so I sat for some time smelling the jar and broken buds. There is a fruity, hard to place, undertone that seemed to get stronger the more I smelled. Also when I first received this herb I noticed the entire floor of the house I was in smelled heavily of it.

Smoke test comments:
The smoke on this was not bad, but not good for me either. Unique would be the word I would use. The last was that of old bubblegum with a bit of a sour end.. Reminded me of morning mouth after a night of heavy drinking. The taste profile on this just didn't work for me, but it wasn't stopping me from smoking this
There was an immediate harshing of my throat on the inhale that was snuffed out as soon as it started, the expansion was smooth and enjoyable.

Final Comment:
This Sour Jack was a trickster, it was much more potent than first thought. The stone hit almost immediately and held on tight for multiple hours. Few strains have this type of fast acting, long lasting effect. It was also a quality high! I had no problems working through tasks and I could come to the solution of a problem quickly. This was very enjoyable and made up for the other less appealing qualities. Overall I would smoke this anytime! I'll be looking for more Sour Jack for sure
