Sour Disel (8weeks)

What do you think? (8weeks) ebb flow, having some slight spider might problems (think weve fixed it)

Use c02 room temp is usally at 75 during day 65 at night... we let it hit 80 sometimes for the c02.... umm and as of right now were keeping it colder like 70 casue spider mites (will this hurt the plants slow down growth) and can sour disel turn differnt colers at all? with the cold?

Anyone knwo hwo long plant goes? some hairs are red, but its hard for me to tell... thanks any info be great..

BTW where are spider mites coming from? out spider? if so how can we keep them out? spray out side of the house? thanks

you should be checking the color of the trichomes to determine readiness. general consensus is to aim for a period when most trichomes are cloudy. a 5 dollar magnifying glass from radioshack will work. I found SD to vary from 70-85 days (10-12 weeks basically). I am not aware of any color changing in the SD and I had them too cold (heater in house was broke during winter, deadbeat landlord).

if you're keeping the room cooled with AC, you're wasting juice. 80 is not problematic even without c02. with c02, girls can withstand temps of 95~. that elec would probably be better spent in the form of a 1000w.

I think neem oil helps with spider mites but I really don't know enough so will leave that Q for someone else.

Relly good looking grow you've got there xxsicknessxx!
What kind of lights are you using?

About those spidermites of yours; A rule of thumb is that they DO NOT like high air humidity.
Of course in bloom your'e aiming for a relatively low rh%, but it wont be a problem if you keep it around 50-60%.
Dry air is like a magnet for all kinds of pests.

Ya were keeping humidity near 50 as much as we can.. we use 2 1000watts and a 600 watt right now, soon to be adding 3 more 1000 watts... wwere just working with what we have right now (low budget) ya I learned a lot lf leasson with my first grow *sigh*

The only issue with co2 is we were never sure if were using right amount (we went off what a friend said) we can't afford a co2 meter, right now so we have it go on when the fans are off (which is all day) the AC is nessisery its been hot out here recentely

With no ac (at all) room hit 95 with in 2 hours... as of right now it goes from

Lights on 70 first 1 hour (co2 turns on) then 75 for rest of the day untill night time when we drop it down to about 68 (for friken spider mites) and we spray plants and make sure everything is ok (for about 2 hours) before lights go off becasue were in last 3 weeks, we just want everything to be perfect night time is around 65 steady! We can controll the temp down to 65 if we want or really any temp we want :) its nice... as soon as we can get the lights hooked up (there all air cooled) just not right now lol we can bring it down to 55 :) lol!! Well thanks, its night to have someone say nice about our grow, it sucks not being able to show it off..!

spidermites are tough to deal with let alone late in flower.

I use nopest strips adn they seem to work so far. I also use pyola but not that late in flower. If you can control humidity wet them down since the mites hate water.

BTW I have a lady at 9 weeks now that looks just like yours. What does your smell like?

Hi there xxsicknessxx,

those SourDiesel are looking very good man. at this late stage you don't have to worry about the spider-mites. not if they are only starting up. its too late to spray them, if it was really bad you might do a neem spray and then spray with water the next day. but from the pics thats not needed. just let them finish off, giving them a nice flush at the end.

to tell the ripeness, its best to study the individual trichomes. some kind of magnification is needed to see the trichomes. they have little round heads on them, these heads should be to 70%- 80% milky looking and 10 % amber and no more then 10% clear heads. some folks just wait for the first few amber trichome heads to show, others like myself like to wait till a good 10% of the trichome heads are amber colored.

keep up the good work mate

How would I go about getting them purple? last week right? only? casue I don't want to halt there growth by making it to cold... they smell ... they smell good :) a nice fresh weed smell.. its nice
Thanks :) hey flush 1 week quarter strenth nutes, 5 days water only, 3 days clearing sollution (sound about right?) and last week night time temp of 60 day time temp of 65? or is that not good?
