Sour diesel problem

I had a sour diesel that I put in expanded clay early and into a DWC setup with bio bizz nutes. its not even hydro nutes, just the bio grow and ph adjusted water. This did not fare will for awhile. I got no growth and the leaves began turning yellow. I said "to hell with this organic DWC bs" and I promptly switched it over to lucas formula with diamond nectar. The plant responded VERY well and began to grow but I now notice some issues on the end of the leaves. Anyone recognize what it is?

what ppm you running? I would run about 450 ppm @ .5 conversion on that girl at 5.8 PH and give her some time she will rebound.

well, my tap water starts out at 200ppm and I have heard that you add the ppm you want to the tap water ppm, so ive been running it at 500-700 ppm. Is this right?

I start with tap water. its starts at about a ph8 and i always let it "air out" for 24 hours before use. I use GH nutes and this one is currently on lucas formula (again, after i switched it from my bio grow formula) you can see on the lower leaves that they were becomeing sad during the bio grow nutes, but lucas picked her up and she began growing, now is when i started seeing the problems on the edge. you think its mag?

Unless you get your water tested and talk to a professional that knows how each component will affect your grow..... find a source for Reverse Osmosis water on the cheap. (Vending machines or water stores are cheapest)

That plant is big enough to take full strength Lucas and if you baby it you're going to have the same issues that you'd have with a nute lockout. The only time you should go easy on the nutes for a plant that size is if you're using below 400w HID lighting or other low-light flowering setup.

a little cal/mag won't hurt a bit and will give it some extra N to boot.

good luck getting your plants healthy.

those speckles almost look like mite damage....
