Sour Diesel IBL

This was a gift from a friend I had around 1/4 oz of this but have been smoking out me and the crew lately and this is all thats left, bummer.
It was grown in organic soil with all organic nutrients.
One month cure!
And here we are...

Appearance: This bud was very dense and was like a rock, hard to break the stem, lots of crystals it was covered all over with them.
Green,Amber,with a tiny bit of lavender here and there..

Smell: Pine,Earthy,Lavender, slightly lemony.
Very nice smell but it reminds me of Christmas ?
No clue why but I am also very blazed right now.
VERY smelly.


Taste: Very hard to describe so bare with me here..
It had a very harsh fruit/pine sour taste with a slight bit of lavender.. the after taste leaves you with a nice taste in your mouth but this stuff makes you have cottonmouth like hell.

High: Pretty equal on the head/body high scale, felt like I couldn't get up and my mind was all over the place, slightly more head for me but still had a great body high, when it kicks in it is narcotic but when it is waring away its very relaxing.

wow, that doesnt sound like sour diesel at all lol. i think your buddy picked a pheno more so for yield than trying to get a true sd representation. none the less it looks like killer smoke. i remember even my wonder diesel reeked of lemons.

I saw the whole thing go down from seed to harvest its Sour Diesel and I don't know what pheno he gave me it must not be the best.
Good smoke though, he sells his stuff to dispensaries sometimes in Sac.

Sneaking I know he buys clones from Sac but I don't know about giving them clones.
But his plants are very nice.

Looks like good smoke but that def is not sourd maybe he got mixed up? Sourd is not earthy at all, its a lemony diesel...or stinky not at all piney. That bud looks kinda indica to me, which would explain the narcotic end of the buzz sourd is straight head high. either way if you enjoy it, thats all that matters!

People have described this as a lemon,piney,diesel smelling I myself did mention some maybe I got more of a sour lemon kind of smell pheno, obviously not the best one it did smell diesel like but not like people have described it.

Wow, herbglaze. Your description is puzzling, but may not be untrue. Certain phenos come out out quite differently, but not so much in the SD IBL. Even though this is questionable to me too, I would question your source of the orginality of the cut or the fruit. Sometimes growers mislabel fruit? (???) Maybe.

Your smoke description is dead on for Rezdog"s Sour Diesel ibl.... sour...lavender....with a touch of chem...smack your head high thats last about 1 hr.....then it lets you down easy...

Finally someone agrees with me smokers grade bud and describe it differently, maybe my skills aren't as good as others but this was just my take of it.

You are right about the cotton mouth. One time I smoked diesel and had cotton mouth so bad I could barely speak.

IBL = In Bred Line... done thru back crossing more then 4x's

HERB I cant describe taste either I can smell fruit but not much more i can smell skunk shit too I've never smelled the fuel and i used to grow the ecsd clone. but i might have not really cared either haha its good day time weed for sure

tell ya what, i had a chance to smoke the sd ibl not too long ago. it didnt taste exactly like some of the samples of the clone i had tried from the clubs. it was caligreens(icmagger) and it did have kindof an earthy bottom which caught me offguard as well. he also said he had grown the cutting for awhile, and the ibl wasnt as skanky lemony deisely, but the yeild was much better. as the first example of rez gear i had tried, i was very very impressed and def. have rez on my radar now. he has many choices! enjoy herb glaze!
