Sour Diesel IBL male?

R

Hello icmag'ers,

I was just wondering if anyone could share their experience with Reservoirs Sour Diesel IBL (2010)?

I had some F2 of these i got as freebies from a House of Love order a few years ago.

I planted most of them a long time ago and had to abandon them for some reason, i can't remember why, and just grew the last 2 seeds this year.

They were both in the same pot and i got 1 male and 1 female, the female grew some male flowers in early flower so i discarded him.

I grew out the male to collect some pollen, but was wondering if these IBLs from 2010 were very consistent in being a good Sour Diesel representation?

I'm not expecting him to be a super elite because i have no other males of the same genetics to compare him but if the 2010 IBLs were reasonably consistent and good i will do some pollinating. :)

Thanks for any help. :thank you: :ying:

The stems do have a kind of burnt rubber type of smell but not super obscene.

males from his 1.5 line were best, I got the line you talk about it was shitty, still have them, I pick males from good females in a pack, 2010 stuff had nothing , but if that's all you have .... that is your next move. happy hunting

I did read that the 2010 ones weren't that good but i just wanted to ask.

I might just discard him.

Don't waste your time. Watered down diesel. Some phenos are ok but still not even close to real sour.

I have other things i can experiment with if it's not very consistently excellent. :)

I chopped him.
