Sour Diesel IBL at 65 days

What's up everyone. This is roughly the 6th clone I've run off of a Sour Diesel IBL mother that I grew from seed. I have two slightly different mothers from the SD IBL, this one is more sweet and sour, extremely similar flavor to the original. The other one I have is pretty much skunky diesel without anything fruity or sweet to it. Both have very nice resin production, and yield decently as well. They will both also get some purple in the leaves when the temps are low enough. These are at 65 days, I usually take this one down at about 75. Enjoy!

Hey Dr Katz I'm right behind ypu with my first crop of Ibl's. I'm at day 57 and have both pheno's. I'm happy to hear that the sweet pheno is also a keeper. I know the sour one is. Is there any variation in the taste and high between the two? They are both beautyful plants. Thanks!

Thanks for stopping in everyone. I'm getting anxious to chop this beauty, as I finished the last scraps from my last harvest yesterday. I'll probably still go the usual 75, but I'll probably also take a little tester or two soon :) Next pics I take will be right before the chop, I'll try to get some in sunlight if I can.

Hey Smokey, thanky you for visiting. The taste is very similar between the two, but at least a little of the sweeter aroma sneaks in to the taste on this pheno. My other pheno is a little skunkier, a little funkier, and no sweetness to it. The highs are also very similar, although my tolerance is too high to really judge the subleties. I have a couple friends who have only been smoking maybe a year, and it's too strong for them. Everyone else who's tried it loves it, and for the seasoned smokers it seems to be very strong, yet they are still somewhat functional high. Definite combo of body and mind effects.

I veg these clones for about 3-4 weeks under a 220 watt T5 flourescent, til they are reasonably bushy and about 16 inches tall. I average about an ounce per plant, usually 3 gallon containers, no co2 (though I'm finally getting a system :woohoo: ), under a 1000 watt HPS.

Thanks for the detailed reply Dr. As you know I'm chomping on the bit waiting for these to get finished. And also glad the sweeter one is good too. As with the sour d I want the sour taste. Best of luck with yours.

All right, since I was just about out of head stash I decided to cut this lady at day 73 instead of going the full 75-77. The colors seem to be mostly temperature dependent, for the last couple months my range has been 60F lights out to 75-76F lights on. I recently bumped things up to about 66F-83F because I finally got my CO2 setup going. Anyway, here are a couple of pics just before the chop, and then several (mostly) dry budshots. This one smokes as good as she looks, even after drying for only 3 days and no cure. Enjoy!
