***UPDATE*** SCROLL DOWN FOR ~WEEK 9 PICS. POST #10
Hey guys, thought I'd throw up a few pics since my girlfriend found her camera. The camera is nothing special and I suck at taking pics so don't give me too much shit. This is my closet I set up because I had a couple extra lights and some mom's I needed to do something with. This room is pretty simple. 2 1k's with 12 plants under them. I made a screen real quick out of PVC and twine. Did the lattice work a little to close but...ehhh, oh well. A/C, intake, exhaust, simple. I built the room in like 4 hours, nothing special, simple and works. I've already spent enough money on my 3 other rooms so I went cheap. I didn't wanna just throw these girls aways and my other rooms are either filled or being renovated.
The plants were mom's that got infested with mites and were getting big so I needed to do something with them. They've been through it all. Temps of 113, heavy infestation of mites, lots of clones cut off over time, rootbound, friends not taking very good care of them, and they still look pretty good...could be better but that's how life goes sometimes. About 4 1/2-5 feet tall. Almost 100% mite free...almost. I still see some of those fuckers...grrrr. At one point these girls were just a few leaves on each plant because the mites got so bad. I've got carpet throughout my house so those asshole's like to hang out there while I spray and then jump back a while later. I'm all organic. I use neem, spinosad, and good ol' Ed Rosenthal's for pesticides but I stopped spraying about a week or two ago on this room. I use FF Ocean Forest cut in half with perlite. I also switch off between General Organics/Earth Juice combo and compost tea, they seem to like it. These girls are at about 6 1/2 weeks I think, give or take a week, I didn't keep track of when I threw them in exactly as these are just some mom's I needed to do something with. Anyway, enough jabbering and on to the photos. Don't flame me too hard...haha. I'll update every couple weeks until they get the chop at 10 weeks/when I scope them and they look ready. Next thread I make will be with my room with 8k! Well, one of the rooms with 8k I mean, the other is still under construction.
