Flame suit on... 
I've smoked about an ounce of this cross over the last year, from several different batches dispensed from the local med co-op. This is less of a traditional smoke report and more just an experience exchange as this strain has bothered me for a while.
I LOVE Sour D, it is top 3 strain for me. I also love the og kush taste and smell, reminds me of what a I used to smoke in my relative old school days (bout 10 years ago). Both are top notch taste, smell, high, bag appeal IMO. But, the SourD x OGKush crosses I have come across always leave my palette feeling stampeded. The smell of this cross is an overwhelmingly full representation of BOTH strains. The taste is an equally chaotic and invasive experience.
I can only describe it really with the metaphor: it's like a filet mignon topped with an ice cream sunday, chocolate sauce, whipped cream and a cherry on top.
Each is outstanding in it's own right but together they just don't make "sense" to the senses. Maybe the Yin and the Yang of my pot fantasies are separate for a reason.
I don't really know how to rate it on the traditional scale. I can say the high has always been great so I'll give it 8/10.
As for the smell, I can distinctly smell both the pugnently sweet and airy smell of the diesel and the more spicy and full smell of the kush. They just don't work together though they both smell great.
Separately I would rate these strains 8 or 9 out of 10. But mashed together I'm going to have to say it's a 5/10. Still very potent just disruptive to the nose.
Anyway I know these two strains are the basis for many many breeding projects and I'm sure I've smoked several named strains that were just variations on this cross. This stuff I've been getting recently just seems so 50/50 rep of the two with neither being dominant. Event the bag appeal is like a sour D bud structure with smaller more dense calyxs of the OG Kush I'm used to. Look at one angle and you'd say it's sour D dominant and another angle you'd say it's OG dominant.
So would love to hear other's take on this cross if you've come across it.
