Sour D x OG aka Headband aka Sour Kush

600 HPS, 100% organic, will be chopped at day 77, still has a few days left to go. I didnt really appreciate this plant until it got closer to harvest. I couldnt get clones to root so hopefully I can get her to re-veg but if I cant all is not lost since I seeded her up pretty good with some Sour D IBL pollen.

Nah, this is the other Sour K, the freeb was Sour D x Bubba Kush. I grew the SD x BK too, it was dank but this one is light years better. I snipped a small bud yesterday, i cant wait to give her a smoke test.

Unfortunately this is about as close as I'll ever come to anything named "headband" so i really cant comment on that. I think the real headband is Sour D/OG/ Masterkush or something like that, this plant in particular was named such simply to cash in on the name, which is kind of lame but its dank so what ever. I think it would have been better had the breeder just called it Sour x OG, everything I have grown from them is killer, no need to play it up for the name sake.

great job bro, I got 12 of these rooted and on deck from DNA/RP, cant wait to flower her out! I think she carries the hard to clone OG trait...I got em all to root up ferocious! ...just took twice as long as some other strains...phyew!

Yeah they are very light in color, must be something to do with OG crosses, my OGxSSH looked the same.

Ticalion, my OG and assorted crosses all suck balls to root. I had OG cuttings stay green for 50 days in a rapid rooter and never throw a single root. I've got to straighten out my cloning because its causing me to lose some dank plants.

Unfortunately I lost the Sour D x OG, it was great weed but I dont worry too much. From what I have seen the one I had is a pretty common pheno, I have seen less plants that lean more towards the Sour Diesel side.

I got exactly what I wanted from her, I have a few hundred (Orig.Sour D/OGKush x SD IBL) seeds added to the vault. I am very excited as I have 7 of those in flower, they stink something serious, I expect to find some awesome plants. I post up pics when start getting fat.



I also have a nice stash of the OGxSSH crossed with SD IBL seeds added to the vault aswell. Gonna be a very stinky sour year as I sort thru them a few at a time.

Is this Reseva Privada Sour Kush? I ordered some from a site that claimed a 9 week flower time. I would assumed that means 60-70 day flower time. Yours went 77 and was still early? Were some pheno's ready sooner or are the web descriptions all misleading?
