this clone was gifted to me . and man all i can say is she has been in my container for just about 4days now i think maybe 5 or 6. but here she is already topped and taking off..i figure she will get another 2 weeks of veg then the lights switch to 12/12 she might even get a bit scrogged ... she is in a 18gall rubbermaid trough. with a huge shulam lady that has been trained and trained and trained and somehow manage to survive with me laveing for europe.. there were 5 shulam ladies but 3 of them died due to ofverwattering when i was gone. so here is my sour creek girl and my monster shulam.. they are under 270wts of hps..

she is about 12-14inches tall and about 18" wide in all directions... the screen is going in tonight.. i will take pics. for everyone...

what are you growing yours in???

my homemade soiless mix (50/50 peat/perlite with added vermiculite, beneficial mycorhizzae (Fox Farm's Peace Of Mind), and calcium (gypsum)

5gal pots or 3??

SEVEN gallon wide mouth cans, just transplanted, they were in 2 pints of soiless mix before this, for way too long hehe rootbound is an understatement.. the pics show them <2weeks after transplant, recovering nicely from those tiny pots

under what type of lighting.???

those 7 gallons are below 220 watts of Sodium light and a couple Edison base compact flourescents, they share the footprint with 2 kona gold seedplants and various cuttings they'd love me if i gave em the light they deserved, also no ventilation in this closet yet so it's just a passive exhaust and if u leave the door shut too long it heats up over 90*F. , hence the obvious heat damage on the single cola plant i posted up there..

im going to try and see if i can get it to branch out a bit before flower...

how old are they??

started from seed in october i think, been stunted in those rootbound pots for a while, theyre just now growing again, if i were to guess theyd be double this size had i transplanted a month earlier


keepin my eyes open for updates, it's nice to see others growing this fun plant

its hard to get her to branch, start early

also, if you want to take a clone youll have to back the light away a bit or shade the plant a bit so that side growth stretches..

ok so since i couldnt upload shit last week here are some comparisons..
when i first got the clone

i love to take pics if you cant tell..she is growing fast real fast i figure after i give them a good shot of nitrogen this week they will be ready to flower next week -week and a half...

now my shulam scrog.. this is my frist attempt at a scrogg and here is how it looks..

Hey swerve, sorry took so long to stop by. definatly an interesting grow all in one tub, seems to me youve had the shulams going like forever, i would have thought you smoked them long time ago but they look healthy enough. Sour creek huh, lucky man there swerve, some good gentics in that one, make sure you take care of her.
Looks like there slowly filling the screen so that good hopfully they will start stretching and you will have some nice budz when its all done.
I bet you miss your old grow klozit you used to have, hopfully you will be able to get a larger grow space soon so you can really show off you mad grow skills
And yes jaws that was me who asked for some pix of your girls and I still havent seen any

veg. as long as you can in hopes to MAXIMIZE yield, as the sourcreek shouldn't stretch much/at all after the photoperiod switch.

nice pheno too, looks like a great balance between the cripple creek and sour bubble.

thanks guys for replying for a while i was talking to myself dotn mind that but then everyone else might think im crazy...but hey whos to say im not...lol well yeah i figure at least another week before the switch i noticed a bit of mag dif coming on so this watering coming up i am going to be adding some epsom for that and lots of nitrogen cause they look a little yellow for me..so with those on the watering i think the screen will fill in nicely.. its about 2feet in diameter and almost full so should be a nice harvest if all grows well.. the sour creek i am soo stooked on it... i think i might grab 2 clones from her to help the top of the plant really put the buds on. plus i will ahve 2 nice clones to work with... as for my old klozit man i remember it...



yeah i miss it a lot....

hahahaha i just acquired to c17 cabs only thing is they are metal cabs.. so im going to have to really think about the grow in it before i do it... i figure a aircooled 400wt hps using a 465cfm fan for aircooling and ventilation.. i dunno when i ahve them i take pics of them and show every and see what my options are.. thanks for the comments and thanks for stopping by

how big is a c17. I think 465 cfm might be overkill unless you have a giganto carbon filter.

well if i use the 465cfm it will be for aircooling and exhausting the hot air in the cab.. so basically and all purpose exhaust system.... we will see how big the cabs are when i get them.. i used the 465 on the klozit above with a 1000wt in it and temps never went above 75..the klozit was 6'wX2'dX8't or 12 square feet or 96 cubic feet...sooo ... looked at the ladies and man o man the SC is getting big has 2 nice thick tops on her and some side branches i think i am going to take as clones to save some of this pheno and grow one outdoor.. man i can wait to smoke this shit.. i figure 12/12 will e in about a week the SC is 4 inches from reaching the screen above at about 14inches off the dirt....she is growing super fast pics monday...

6x2 is an odd shape and proably was not efficent to cool with one exhaust. With a somewhat symetric shape one fan moves the air more evenly.
