Sour Chunk (ECSDxDeepChunk) @ 60 days..

Here's some pics of Sour Chunk, a cross made with the ECSD clone and Deep Chunk male..

I popped 8 beans, and only ended up with 2 fems, both fairly ECSD dominant, but the other one is only a couple weeks into flower..

They have a nice funk, something you'd expect from the parent, a good mix of both.. It's also been my largest yeilding DC cross so far, but i have a few more to test.. But, I'm quite impressed with the results, she was fast growing, and there's alot of weight on the lower branches despite not getting a ton of light..

I'll be revegging her in case she's nice, but she probly has about a week to 10 days to get nice and amber trichomes.. she's pretty much mostly cloudy now.. couple clears and ambers..

The other ones looks like it'll do well topped, i will post her up in this thread when she's done..

Absolutely no herms/late nanners so far, and this girl was given alot of stress on purpose.. besides the low female ratio I'm very happy with this cross so far.. we'll have to see more tested before we can know if it always has a low ratio..

The leaves look a little light in color ya know what I mean? Like it didn't have much light like you say for how big it was. Awesome job though bro, looks fantastic! Gonna post any dry nug shots? hello paranoidandroid, thank you for the compliments and the wishes of good luck, I shall report on her in a few days with some sample nugs I took at day 60, stay tuned.


She doesn't quite smell exactly like the old skewl HTIndica pheno Ganjafari, as the HTI has almost a more Bubba flavor now with a bit of cure.. not as sour as the ECSD for sure, a lil more when in late flower, but not so much after drying.. the HTI is a good clone in it's own right.. And I'm sure there's more ECSD dominant phenos in this cross, the other one I'm flowering looks to be more so than this one..


I'm sure yer Sour Chunks will turn out just as nice dogsnob, you always get wicked results, I've seen the pics/proof :wink: as long as you get some females I'm sure you'll be very pleased with the plants..

hello caligreen, yes, she was only given great light on the top 1/2-1/3 of the plant, and it was from a small light source, a 430 Agrosun HPS in a proper 430w ballast.. But she was on the outside edge of the grow, so she would have probly yeilded another 30-50% if I had given her perfect conditions.. I can actualy tell quite clearly that this plant would yeild excellent if dialed in, she's got potential.. much denser than ECSD IME, not as spongy..

I'll be sure to post some dried budshots.. You can't see it in the live plant shots, but there's alot of purple calyx.. if this girl was in my colder room she woulda been purple for sure..
