Hey JPB I agree with you on the stony nature of this strain! I have had the SB in my garden for 3 years. I find that after a good 6 week cure the buds take on a much more smoother flavorful smoke. The fruitfulness comes out but the same sour smell to the exhale smoke. Like sour cream. Do you find that the room tends to smell slightly like a fine cigar after smoking a joint of it?
I am germinating 4 more seeds from my bx1's right now to hopfully work in to my genetic line {(SB[f] x Petrol[m]) x SB[f]} the [f] is the one in the pict. I picked her from the 1st 4 seeds i popped thanksgiving '03. She has good natural branching structure and an awesome bubblegum smell when growing.

Here are some picts of my sour bubble. Since i have had her and honed in her growth I have gotten buds the size of baseballs & wine bottles. It always is done in no more than 55 days and is forgiving to grow.

Never in all my days have i seen a sour bubble with the size of this one. Guess I'll be getting out the DWC for that one soon, man o man.

Hello All..... i see we all have a common intrest in something great..... SourBubble Bx3 is some of the strongest smoke i have experienced from seed. It is by far my fav up to this point..... out of 6 seeds i started i was blessed with 2 girls..... BOG stuff is the BOMB.... i still have 18 seeds left of the BX3 that i will use for breeding later along with my sour sour ladies....... The light pheno is my fave outta the 2 ..... It smells like sour sour limes and never loses its smell when cured..... When smoked it leaves the nicest smell in the room ... when you open a jar of sour, it reeks up the whole street..... ... Amazing stuff what more can i say ... both phenos have been in my garden for over a year now and will be there for some time to come........... All who have grown and smoked the sour know its Serious ....

Damn Raygun!, Did your garden get hit by a blizzard?
Really looking frosty. Those are some the most frostiest and most appealing pics I've seen yet. Not to mention that It comes from a ultrapotent strain. For those of you making comparison with Sour Bubble BX3 and kush strains you really know your stuff. I was reading SKUNK magazine (current issue) and it had a Interview w/ BOG. He was giving a background on how he first started breeding. To make it brief, he started with German shepards then cannabis. Then he started talking about his sour Bubble, and said that from what he remembers,it was one his bubblegums that got crossed with a kush(which one? it doesn't say), then worked with best one(s). He also said that he got his Sour Bubble lab tested at a university thru chemo/chromo therapy, something like that(thats what the process is called in which they get THC levels) and got a 32% THC!!! :jawdrop:
I really wish I could've gotten my hands on that one Maybe and hopefully Sbay will throw some more up some day. Anyway I thought I put my , hope you'll don't mind Peace!

For real...32%? Thats a fucking shit load. The latest I heard was g-13 was the most potent with like 27% I think? maybe less but 32 is crazy!!!

Sour bubble is just the BOMB. Too bad BOG is gone. He should make a comeback. I like his strains cause they're fast finishing and produce some of the best bud on earth. Sour bubble is my favorite strain to date. I got 1 MOM left out of the pack I scored 2 years ago.

I saw 1 pack of sour bubble went for $1500 at the bay. Its well worth it if you ask me.

Sadly I missed out on this one. Is it that much better than Lifesaver? I haven't tried Lifesaver yet either but I do at least have a pack from BOG : )
