Sour 60 question

Hello all,
I'm a long time follower of these forums, but this is my first time posting. I've been reading a bit lately about this new sour 60 strain and I'm very interested. My question is about the light cycle- I am aware that 24 or 18/6 is what most people run with the auto-flowerers, but does it work to start them on 24 or 18/6 and switch into 12/12? Or perhaps to just run all the way through on 12/12? I'm just curious about the possibility of plugging in sour 60 into an existing grow. Thanks for your time!

True autoflowers like this one will flower independent of light cycle. More time under lights just translates to more growth potential. You can play with lighting cycles if you want but I don't see the point. You can put them into an existing grow at 12/12 with no probs. I grew quite a few dieselryders outdoors last summer and they were pretty decent without 18 or 24 hours of light.

Also- do the plants respond well or at all from the switch from MH to HPS?

Yes! You'll want to "veg" them with the MH a week after they have shown sex you can swap it for the HPS. or run them both the whole way through for best results.
