Sour 60 pheno ?

Just started a seed run with 10 sour 60 in 3 gallon bags. At two weeks now and i suspect they are fixing to start to flower, and there are the obvious different phenos showing already. The main goal is to have as many seeds as possible for mid may.
Is there a go to thread about breeding the sour 60 ?
Just need to know if I am best to do an open pollination, or to pull out all but one male? figure it was o.k to polinate the runt females, would just mark those seeds to see if they grew differently than those from a large 1oz+ pheno female.
This site is an abundance of info, been lurking since O.G and want to thank all for their contributions, has truly changed my life :)

Shame no one has answered your questions.. ill try to be breif.. I would NOT do an open pollenation, instead use SELECTIVE pollination.. Sour60 already has enough phenos.. It would be in your best intrest to try to find a very large male, with loads of branching, and look for good smells, like berrys, skunk.. avoid off putting smells like mold or grass..

Also, i wouldnt pollinate the runt females, use the pollen on the larger phenos so you can weed out any runts that are in there.. Although, ive never had a runt myself... And you gave them plenty of room for them to flourish in..

Enough with me rambling! Show us some pictures!

Thank you very much for your reply. That makes sense to me , i went ahead and put all the males (which showed 2 days ago) into a seperate room. I can see one pheno with pure indica looking leaves(nearly rounded) and one that has more elongated leaves, both of those are bigger than all of the females. which pheno would you guys use? they are both very nice specimens, but obviosly very different. Sorry no pics, no cam. Too paranoid anyways. again thanks 222

you are aware also seeds need time to dry out so if you plan on plating them seeds mid may its not gooing to happen it takes 5-7 weeks for seed to ripe and then 5-6 weeks to dry i jsut went through all this myself it was a night mare started 100 seeds 3 weeks ater i harvested seeds and like 10 popped then let them dry for 3 more weeks and vola 90% germ rate

Canada, a good dry helps, however I have read that what helps most is a couple of overnight freeze/thaw cycles. Remember that alot of the seeds have been dry inside of the pod for a bit as well. Not trying to jump the gun on mid may either, more like early june, doesn't matter because choppers start mid august Any others have experience with this?

thats what sold me on autos as well where im from the leo doesnt have enough funding to fly all summer long looking for plants and if plants found in may - july are found if gives the grower lots of time to replant and still acheive a crop so choppers go up around these parts in late august which gives me time to harvest dry and medicate my herb long befro the choppers / hunters are out and about :p

If you're making seeds, use all the males, on all the females. Then label different plants a different # and their seeds accordingly, then pick out the best 10 females (10 minimum, the bigger the selection the better)

I agree. Use all the males unless they are runts and visibly stunted. Later next run start to use only selected males. If you only use one what if that one looks good but really has no potency and sucks? You're done. With all of them you can pick and choose and not be trapped.
