sour 60 cfl + coconot/perlite

started 4 beans on 1/12 heard great things about these autos

gave them a foliar with just a touch of giberellic acid on 1/16 and put into 1 gallon bags today 1/22
soilless mix is 60% coconot with perlite
applied a drink of 1/2 strength foxfarm grow big after putting cubes into the mix

lets see what 2 months from now will bring under 161w of cfls in a homemade box that is 43" high and about 13"x15" inside dimensions with 2x dc computer fans exhausting the 6x 1.5" intake holes in the floor

males and females will both be kept for doing their thing

I would try getting those CFL's a bit closer, they are stretching pretty good. They might need some stem support later in life if the nodes don't shorten up a bit.

Other than that they look great so far.

bighill - can't get 'em any closer w/o heat issues, but from what I have seen, they get some beefy stems, so hopefully they won't be stretching out too much between budsites, but stem supports arent a big problem to stick in if needed - strain should stay under 42" from the top of the growing shoots to bottom of bag

cvk - they are reg beans from the boo, will be making more if I get both males and females though

Upsized my mini cab over the weekend so now I have a bit more room to add plants its a hodepo plastic 26" base cab with 2 x 2 t8 lamp 2 foot fluoro strips 56w total for now.

1 showed male, 1 showed female. 2 still no show, but 1 of them is getting the cs treatment, so if there are 3 females 1 will be reg pollinated and the other 2 will put out fem beans if I did everything right.

2 42w cfl bulbs plus the t5 double strips in top of cab
using the other side as the nursery for 8 wonder woman and 4 m-i-s seedlings
