SOMETIMES MOTHER NATURE JUST SUCKS!

Woke up this morning at the crack of dawn as usual. We had a hard rain the previous night and there was a break in the rain so I went to check out my buds first thing as usual. First thing I thought after seeing the first plant was FUCK!!!!! One of the main branches had snapped and the buds where upside down. I immediately went for my nylon string. I hung the branch back up and strung around where the break was. I then continued to check all my other plants.FUCK!!! Two more plants had broken branches. So I did the same thing I did to the first plant. Yup, more string. Unfortunately I had a nice bud break completely off on my White Rhino. So, I guess I'm gonna get an early taste test. Dam thing is. This happened to me last yearbut with only one plant. And I still got a very nice yeild out of her. So I hope this string trick works again. Out of 6 plants 4 of them where damaged. One good thing was the Monster plant was not harmed. But, now I have to go buy more string cuzz I just had enuff to get me threw this ordeal. Now I'm going to go get high. Thanks for reading my rant.I feel much better now.

Sorry to hear about the bad luck. Sucks it damaged 4 different plants, but its weird it wasn't the biggest one!

Get some sticks, break them off so there's a 6 inch "y": at the top, and stake those branches up. Storms will likely come again before harvest. Glad you caught them in time.....let us know how the immature widow smokes.

LOL & POMH. Well another storm blew thru. Ripped the two top branches off of one of the plants. So now I have about an oz of 4 week early buds drying in my barn.

Thats what i am hoping for too. Mother nature can be a mean one some times, but she has a way of making it up to you as well. You'll get a good harvest. A little topping never hurt anyone. Best of luck my friend

Well another day and another broken branch on two plants with more rain on the way. Surpose to dry up this weekend I can't wait. I feel like my plants are falling apart. And now both my screens are full of early buds so I'll have quite the taste test going on here in about a month.

Exact same thing happened to me today. Went out to my plant site and found a large branch of immature buds had been ripped from the main stem, and thats the second time that's happened to the same high-quality plant Tying up the last branch with string didn't save it so this time I tightly taped the base of the branch back to the main stem

If mother nature ever sees me coming she better start running the other way, I feel like cutting her into many pieces

tssk, don't blame it on mother nature, blame it on the strain. Most probably genetically impoverished through stabilization (and maybe poor gene stock from parents as well),not enough fiber left in the plant to make it tough.

if you want a good cheap outdoor strain around the 10 quid mark try Leda Uno, or Bahia Blackhead

recently done a Leda Uno x Malawi 99 cross with a view to outdoor - hopefully it will make for a monster yielding, fast, very hardy and vigorous psychedelic uberplant

I would invest in a tarp and some stakes to guard from the wind and rain. I fyou know its going to rain i would stake that tarp up and make sure the wind and rain have a barrier between the plants and it. Just a thought my friend
