Something for the outdoors, in the uk climate

Afternoon all
I'm looking for some help in choosing a strain to grow, outdoors in the UK.
something that would give me a nice mellow chill, but won't send my mind racing, no paranoia or anxiety

Looking for recommendations from ACE growers.
Any information greatly appreciated

Welcome @celtic voyager ! I am sure the ace catalogue has something that fits your profile.
I haven't done any outdoor grows myself, but there is consensus here that the strain descriptions on the ace website are fairly accurate, if not spot on. You can filter for flowering times and effects. But not all short flowering strains may be suitable, since flowering start is also a factor.
According to that and the reports here in the forum, the following strains would be great candidates:

Erdpurt
Erdpurt x PCK
Early Bubba
Lebanese
Nepal Jam
Green Mountain Grape
Purple Satellite

(roughly increasing Indica->Sativa properties)

Edit: and of course the autos ace has to offer, but may not be exactly "chill out weed". Your mileage may vary....

A lot depends on your microclimate and the actual weather of a specific year, of course.
