Museums. Churches & cathedrals.

If you rent a car, the scenery is beautiful in the countryside.

Explore the city. I spent two days wandering all over Amsterdam on foot when I lived in Europe. European cities are fascinating - very different from American cities. Amsterdam is unique anyway with all the canals, etc. It's not a huge city, but has a lot of history.

Talk to the locals. Many or most speak at least some English. It's interesting to compare notes on how we live & work & play.

Sit in a cafe, drink some coffee, and watch the world go by. Feel horribly decadent.

Every spring Keukenhof is a feast for the eye.
Millions of tulips and other bulb flowers are then in bloom. A fantastic experience for people of all ages and a wonderful spectacle to photograph! An overwhelming display of colour in a beautiful setting covering an area of 32 hectares that incorporates elements of traditional and modern landscape gardening. The flower shows in the pavilions are unique. Part of the park has been redesigned for 2005. Surprising and inspiring, brimming with ideas, trends and features that you can apply in your own garden.
We look forward to seeing you at Keukenhof!
