Someone tried to rob me..

not to long ago. came in through the backdoor. I don't know what they were after, but if it was the ganja, it isn't even here! I am not sure if that was their intended target, especially since no one should know. but I've had my brother and sister stumble upon the plants when they come over, so who knows who they bragged to. I would of thought I could of trusted them, however, it seems as though I was mistaken. It was odd, because whoever it was went STRAIGHT for the area where the plants USED to be (so they must have had knowledge of the location and layout of the home). However, the plants were harvested and dried, already in curing. The same day of curing, they were given to the person they were intended for (medical purposes, very good friend that is sadly suffering from a multitude of things).

So they got nothing. My dog chased them off, before I could get a good look at them(of which they are lucky wasn't one of the bigger ones that were locked away), but they did get into the home, I could hear them running away from the area where the plants used to be at a quick pace, after the dog came running and barking..since I was home alone, I knew no one else should be in the home, and I was in my bedroom. As I ran out the backdoor, I saw them hopping a fence with the dog chasing after them. then they got into a vehicle parked (and still running) not too far away and drove off. Luckily for them, I didn't hear them earlier, otherwise they would have been shot (and I have a lot of frustrations that would please a trigger finger). thankfully, nothing was stolen. If they plan on coming back, they won't get away so easily, maybe not even alive.

sorry to hear that. sometime the people closest to you will set you up. don't trust nobody but your mom, even then cut the deck. stay safe...if you 21+ with no felony, stay strapped.

yeah, my brother and sister don't even know I have guns. if it was anyone, it was probably one of my brothers friends that he bragged to. but I don't believe it was family that would be in on it, and I can say that with confidence. I don't place my trust in too many people, especially non-family, no one else ever gets my trust no matter what they've done to help me, or how good of a friend they are. definitely going to keep a gun within hands reach at a moments notice, loaded, with one in the chamber, in case they do decide to come back.

I can shoot anyone in my yard with good cause (anything they are trying to use as a weapon against me). anyone entering my home, and thats a complete different story. I can shoot them inside my home whether I know they have a weapon or not.

also to add: a friend of mine had a guy break into his home, in the kids room. he caught the guy climbing in. he was about half way in the window, kids still asleep (even after hearing a breaking window, of which alerted my friend) and he grabbed the guy by his hair, and pulled him the rest of the way in. he then proceeded to beat the hell out of the guy with his sons solid wood baseball bat, breaking it over the guys head, and still beating him with the broken piece. he put the guy in a coma. the police told him if the guy didn't come out of the coma, charges would be filed, since he used excessive force. but other than that, nothing happened to him.

the guy came out of the coma a few weeks later, but had severe brain damage. couldn't even talk right anymore. the police were tempted to file attempted murder charges, but didn't. that's justice, even though I don't agree with him hurting the guy so bad, you should know better than to break into someones home, especially if it is their kids room. if you are a thief, you take that risk upon yourself. because nothing in most homes you could steal, is worth your life.

true, I would use caution before firing of course. But both of my parents are dead already, so I doubt I'll be shooting them. I'd be happier putting one in each of their kneecaps, than in their head.

Thats why i always wave my .45 around in circles in the air as i walk to my appt.

On a serious note, I think its time to switch grow locations. Mabey keep the same residence??? I dunno many good luck and think it out.

BTW. Kneecaps are great, absolutely wreck the piece of shit who is invading your space for life and you dont get attempted murder. (EDIT: lol not sure if that is true or not)

I think it should be standard punishment for any home theif to catch one in the knee cap.

I am in the process of moving actually, so that is a good coincidence. I don't plan on growing again for a bit (not related to the break-in, just not necessary), I'm thankful they weren't a few days early, otherwise they might have gotten some goodies. I don't really like the neighborhood anymore. a few months ago I was walking home from the store humming a tune, and I hear a twig snap close behind me, low and behold some punk in a hoodie was right behind me (no more than 3 feet, on a dark empty sidewalk) with a sack that was filled with something, I believe it was probably rocks or something heavy, and he had planned on knocking me over the head with it.

I stopped, turned my head slightly and looked out of the corner of my eye, this was enough for him to stop walking and just freeze, which made me more suspicious. so I reached my hand in my pocket where my spiked chrome knuckles were, and grasped tightly. I started to walk again, and so did he. I kept walking until I got home, which wasn't even a half a block. I sat on the porch and watched him walk by, with his head down, he turned real quick for a glance then kept walking.

I went inside, and looked out the window. this time he was walking the opposite direction, back the way he came. then I came back out on to the porch quietly, and he turned back to look at me real quick again just before he got to the corner, then he went around the corner and stood behind a bush for a few seconds thinking I couldn't see him. I started to run off the porch at him, and he took off. this was previous to the grow, so I'm sure it is unrelated.

Also another unrelated incident where someone broke in my car not to long ago. they almost got my deck, but they couldn't pull it out (it is basically bolted down), and they had accidentally leaned against my horn, which alerted me. I guess they ran once they hit the horn, and thankfully left the face to my deck which I accidentally forgot to remove, I found it on the ground next to my car. several other people were robbed that night near-by. there seems to be plenty of punk kids with nothing better to do. they had to of jimmy'd the car, because the doors were for certain locked, and no windows broken. now I keep it in the garage at all times. so yeah, definitely time to move.

yeah I always thought you can just shoot some guy breaking in your house in the states, guess not.

In Canada you can't do that, you'd get charged for like manslaughter. I'd definately shoot someone if they broke in my house, rather than wait and see if they'll shoot. Or just get a good alarm system/ dog.

I used to know a guy with an ak47 under his bed incase someone broke in his house.

Sorry to hear about the break in Truth. Nothing can put a person on edge like not knowing who or why? Ive had my plants stolen off my back lawn and it tokk me 3 years to find out who it was for sure. In the end they know what they did and have a permanant reminder that they crossed the wrong guy. I never laid a hand on them. I just made it known in front of all there buddies that I knew it was them and they are now "shunned" by many in the area. I wanted to give them a physical reminder by tattoing "thief" on both of thems forehead but was talked out of it. Around here it is the "pillheads" that are the punks stealing anything not tied down. Anyhow I could go on for days about this cause it really gets my goat!! We all work hard for what we have and take many chances along the way. I truly feel bad for you Truth as you now have to look over your shoulder every step just to settle your own mind and it is wrong that any person should have to do that. Just remember that the person who broke in also dont know if you saw them or not and they are looking back as well!

yeah pill heads are just as bad as crack heads, from what I've seen. I had a friend that became one, and they changed a lot. I've had plants stolen before, but it wasn't so good for the thief's, just began flowering some 6-7 footers outdoors and they came at night and cut them from the stalk, a male and a female. couple of days later, one of the guys overdosed and died from mixing oxy/xanax together. I found out he did it, after he died, and his other buddy was forced to come over and apologize. it was a friends nephew, and he brought them over to his uncles house to store them in a hurry. his uncle called me and asked me if some of my plants were missing (I tie red string to the plants for lst, and he saw them before because we went to each others homes often to smoke and talk about growing), and I said yes they were. I didn't feel the need to do anything to him when he came over and apologized, because he already had a black eye.

the guy probably saw them when he was cutting grass in the neighbors yard. about all the plant would be useful is for taking massive clones since there was no bud whatsoever on them yet, but I doubt my friend would have been in on it, since he grew also, and had his own field of plants. his nephew just didn't know who I was, but that is no excuse for stealing plants. It was a small town where everybody knew everybody for the most part. only had 6 cops, and most were good friends, which knew I grew. I even smoked with 2 of them.
