someone talk yeilds to me??

Hi guys..i am starting my first real grow and i am wondering about yeild...I have a two room setup..the veg room has a twin 4 ft cfl and a 400 watt m/h..the flower room has 2 600 watt hps with good defender reflectors..i have a 200 mm intake fan in the flower room as well as a 250 mm exaust fan..i am growing in coco coir and useing dutch master newt's..
i have a few strains to try from nirvana..White widdow, ak48, k2 and northern ;lights #5 x shiva...mY PLAN IS(BECASUE OF LIGHT SPACE MAINLY) to veg up 9 babies at a time and start another group a month later, so when i put them in the flower room, i will first up have 9 under 1 600 hps, and then in a month introduce the next round of 9 under the other 600 hps..thereby stagering the harvest and reducing a bit of the smell because i won't have a room full of finishing buds...Can anyone give me a rough idea about what sort of yeild i will be looking at..i am hopeing to get 3-4 oz's per plant...is this an unreal expectation??i am limited in head room to around 6 ft all up..so the plants can only grow to about 5 ft max including the pots...
any tips or guesses at yeild would be sweet dudes..any probs you can see with my system let me know also...

First run??? and you are going to get 1.68 grams a watt?

I would say more around the line of .50-.75 grams per watt. That's about what i got around my first real grow. You'll do well with the K2, AK48 and White Widow.

I'd say 1 ounce per plant, roughly :wink:

I'd hit for around 0.5 grams per watt, you really should hit that mark on your first run. If you dont get that buddage from your first harvest I'd really have a good look at my set-up and where things need to be improved.

Many factors will determine your final yeild- lighting, enviroment, growers ability and the most important (imo) is the strain you use.
So on your first run dont set your goals to high, only after your first run can you truly see where improvments need to be made, may it be your method of growing or the particular strain your running.
Best of luck on your first grow, only a couple of things beat that excitment of your first grow- I look forward to a thread??

cool..thanx guys...5 of a gram per watt sounds very doable...would you say more small plants or less bigger ones is the go??

Once you get everything wired tight and you understand your plants and strains better. I don't see after a couple of grows under your belt. Why you can't hit 1-1.5 oz's per a plant. When i was growing and i was running NYCD and Green Giant. I was yielding 1 oz minum per a plant and some like the NYCD Clone that where pushing 24" plus where pulling in almost a QP, but that's after running them a couple of times and getting to know the plant and strain. I'm sure you'll do well after a couple of grows. You want to see a member that has came a long way in growing skills. Go check out Mr.Wags. That member has come along way. I remember him when he was a newbie around here. That "Cool Cat" has come along way with his setup and is killing it now. Mr. Wags if your reading this. Super Great job brother. Just keep your goal low for the first two grows and you'll see your yield increase over each grow.

One thing i can tell you for sure is dont shoot for plant height but a nice short even canopy your lights will only penetrate about 30 inches of usefull light if that, believe me i know i have ended up with some awsome tops with a ton of popcorn below, it sucks unless your into making Bubble hash.
