IMO it looks like N underfert (a lack of Nitrogen like Blest_1 was saying). You can pick up some fish emulsion and give it a dose or two to boost your N. Do a search and read the other growers problems & solutions when it comes to leaves yellowing to get a feel for what you should do.Good luck!

people see yellowing leaves and immediately jump to the conclusion that they have a nutrient deficiency. with modern fertilizers and potting soil this is very very unlikely to happen. a nutrient deficiency would be one of the last things i would look for in the cannabis plant......when using modern ferts

if you are new growing, the most likely mistake is that you are over watering your plant. this inhibits growth due to lack of oxygen at the roots....

if you are unsure when to water, then wait for the plant to start wilting (not TOO much!!) and pick it up. this is the weight of the plant and container you want to be near when watering....you want to water just a little before plants want to wilt...

make sure to completely saturate the plant when watering!!

i have a moisture meter and all of that . does a N def. usually have those necrotic spots in the middle of the leaves?

Well the necrotic spots aren't from N def, N def also usually affects the whole leaf at once not from the tips back :2cents:

From the purple in the stems and the spots you have lockout maybe from the ferts your using or overwatering which I think is the case.

personally, i was never a fan of moisture meters. pockets of dry/wet soil, different substrates and irregular readings keep me from giving it my endorsement. better to learn the characteristics of the plant, environment and it's interaction with soil/substrate by "squeezing the Charmin"

what the heck is squeezing the charmin? and im going to go to my local hd and see if they have some fish fert or something organic and high in N. thank you guys for your help.

what the heck is squeezing the charmin?

sorry. it was in reference to a very old commercial.

i just mean get a feel for how the plant wants to be watered...
that means complete saturation when watering and waiting for plant to nearly wilt before watering again. cannabis is a strong plant that likes to be abused, so letting it wilt a little ain't going to hurt it. the boundaries of the plant, where it wilts, tells you a lot of information about its feeding schedule. when the soil begins to feel light again, and you notice that ever so slight droop in the leaves, you will KNOW it's time to water.

oooo i c what u mean. yeah i usually wait for them to wilt a lil bit. its amazing how much difference the weight of the water in the pot makes. thanks again for all the help.

If your growing organic then you should feed them a compost tea, it will reset soil biology and get the nutrients flowing again.

Don't wait that long until your water, wilting is a bad sign, when peat or even coco go that dry they become hydrophobic (repel water), this makes getting that water retention going a bit of a pain, organics prefer moisture but not too much, water more often with less.

i use the feel method also. i never let them droop though. its not that hard people

as you already know i am currently using jungle growth soil and i was wondering if it would be ok to transplant into a perlite, vermiculite, and sphagnum peat moss? without any reprecussions?
