Someone Gizzed on my DWC Roots

as its says..

my roots look like someone jized all over them..

its so gross

i got a few mothers of Real Tomatoes... and just wanted to try few cutings of them.. so i realy didnt care about keeping it Lightproof.. or any thing. as i wasnt going to let them go threw entire life..

but heres the problem..
i got all this Giz goo all over the Roots...

its a Kity Liter Bucket.. (i thought i cleaned all the Liter Powder out)
not light proof..
1500 PPM GH Floramato DRY..
ph 6 even.. ( i don't know about now im not putting my hanna in that crap)
GH Subculture (but i use that in the mother and no problems)
AH Companion (American hydros version of Subculture again i use that in the mother with no problems)
they where in a smaller bucket with no light proofing either..
after i saw this i added some H202 and a bit of diluted bleach to kill whatever it is..

plant shows no sign of bad any thing..

any ideas what this is.. could i have missed some of the kity powder or is it something else..could it be a fungus..
im not new to growing but i never seen this before.. EVER

but i checked on them 24 hours after putting in bigger bucket and i get this..

i believe not light proof could be your problem.Look for a spray paint called Krylon Fusion which is a spray paint for plastic. much easier then having to put tap on the bucket.

Bleach can wreak havoc with your PH, and probably burn your roots. Stick with the peroxide. It will oxygenate your roots.

Yes anywhere light and water interact you will find the primordial ooze that may have been you and I at one point! Green algae is next. You can't stop it unless you cut off the light source.

Lightproof the rez and try again.

Good luck!

That looks like either algae build up which will under heavy rooting eat o2 and sufficate stones, then root rot sets in. Get your bucket light tight, make sure the temps in the room don't get out of control, really above 80 is preferable.

before this biger kity liter bucket they where in a smaller one but no light proofing on that one either...

the smaller one they have been in for about 3 weeks.. and this one only 24 hours... and then this mess.

ya the bleach prob will kill the matoes (there 2 in the bucket)..
i added peroxide first then the bleach LOL...

temps i assume about 60-65 no way am i putting my hanna in there to check...
the others are at 65-70 cause i have mini heaters set at 70 (i think my beni bactiria likes it warmer than 65 but not higher than 70

the krylone fusion doesnt stick to cat liter buckets..
i tried that on the others.. and there all chiping away..
thats the other reason this one has no light proofing i was like forget it LOL>.
im going tonight to get Aluminum tape it sticks and holds better than duct tape...

i just took another cat bucket and bleached and rinsed just to ensure clean..
and then added some Flora Klean,, and a bunch of Peroxide..
ill leave that for a few hours while i go get some more Allm tape..

hydrogen peroxide my friend...that slime is nasty..its from rez. temps or light leaks in rez....buy a can of black spray paint and paint the outside of the bucket
