Some SOL Blockhead @ 7weeks

.... I've grown her out a few times and one thing i can't stress enough is let her go a full 9 wks.... she'll look and smell breath taking at the end of 8 wks and pack on only a little more yield the last week, but thickens out the rest of the way... and the trich's pack on thick, even more important the chem inside the trich's finalizes to Block perfection in the last week. if your in week 7 hope you've started the pure water flush, if not start now... oh, and just be warned, Block is a power to respect, not a creeper, but the high takes some time to come to full power (i.e. you finish the joint, say to your self "damn i'm ****ed up" and 10 min's later you relize the earlyer comment was just the first two hits fully kicking in.... then your ****ed) take a few hits off your first sample joint, put it out and wait 20-30 mins befor finishing it. or bogart the whole thing, just don't say you weren't warned

@ShortStackz: How long do you veg Blockhead to get this sized plants? I run couple BH currently and have noticed they are very slow in veg. That is why I would love to hear how long you did veg those plants?
Also, did you top them, ro bend & bind them?

Blockhead is one of my all time fav's,,,,,no doubt about it.
Its an excellant smoke and yielder.
I've got to agree with GentlemanFarmer about letting her go 9 weeks (or possibly 10). Blockhead can be a bit "edgy" if harvested too early.
However,, it can be a fekker for going Moldy so keep your eyes open for any signs of it.

GentlemanFarmer: I think I'll let her go the 9 weeks like you said since its not that far away. I just started the fush this week
Herbalistic: The plants were vegd for 6 weeks & did LST to get them how they are. Never topped
Lucid: One has a sweet smell & the other has a lemon scented cleaner smell.

Buddy, and stikky... i agree some if not all can be taken into the 10th wk and pack even more of a punch, that 10th wk is the back side of the harvest window in my option, given much more of the indica side of Block, i'm a sativa fan myself so i try to harvest most strains in the early window. ShortStackz, just my advice but what i often do on a first run with a strain is harvest at 2 or 3 times in the window of harvest. find out where the chemistry is suiting to me. get a scope or loop and check the trichs daily from here on out so you know what the trichs look like at each stage, then harvest at mid 9 wk (smaller harvest) at end 9 wk and at end 10 wk, smoke and find whats your fancy. then you can harvest in the future based on this test. remeber get a good idea of the trich amber/cloudy/clear ratio and head size of each harvest... very small enviermental factors can make even clones from the same plant ripen 5-10 days on eather end of when they did befor, i say always harvest and base ripeness on trichs not the calender.
