Pictures next to my lavenders. Second two macro are reverse lens technique:
Picked up a half of Purple Kush, not sure if it's the name, or the description of a kind of Kush(probably purple og kush), but indeed purple, and very colorful as you can see in the pictures; very nice bag appeal, and had some really nice buds in it. I should of had a scale comparison in the photos, but my camera ran out of batteries before I could remember to do it, maybe I'll upload more tomorrow.
Visually, as you can see it has nice dark, almost blue purples in it, and a vibrant orange color on the pistils. The crystals are very visible, even from outside the bag at a distance. It's light, but surprisingly heavy in the hand. Easy to break up, but not too compact or brittle. It had a very distinct smell when I opened the bag. I want to say it reminds me of a slightly minty-fall smell, musky almost, but not cheesy; smells like it was cured well too...if thats possible to detect in an odor.
I so far have tried it on the vaporizer and pipe, and it has a very full bodied taste. Earthy, with remnants of grassy-butteryness to it. Foxy aftertaste. Very delightful to smoke, not too rough, but did have me coughing like I haven't in while, although I think that has to do more with how dank it was. The texture of it is cured to perfection, if this amateur stoner might say so.
The high has been so far very pleasant cerebral high, with calming overtones and a perspective understanding of things, milder body high, but still present. I really enjoyed listening to music while relaxing with this, and of course browsing my favorite forum. I was persuaded to watch This Is It shortly after my first bowl, and made it a better experience, the second bowl from the vape had me listening to some of my favorite bands(a7x, circa survive, explosions in the sky[great stoner music], infected mushroom, modest mouse, nin, chevelle, breaking benjamin, a perfect circle, mars volta, coheed and cambria, and team sleep), did I mention it lasted a while?
Enjoy,
and I have to say that dictionary of words stickied really helped me, though I'm still trying to get the hang of really tasting it.
