Hey guys I have a few plants (from clone), they are about 2 weeks old in an organic coco mix containing 1 tbsp of blood meal, seabird guano and mexican bat guano, kelp meal and 2 tbsp of dolomite lime in 3 of the 7 pots (they all are receiving cal/mag). The plants are showing a few issues that I hope you guys can help us with. thx for the help in advance.

So what do you guys think?

Wow! thats a lot of nutes for 2 week old clones. Anyway, there seems to be a number of issues with your plants. I would def flush the first one, hell flush them all. It seems to be some nute burn going on there. Plus, you need a base point.

More over you are using the wrong type nutes for this stage & way too!! much. A little more info is needed like strain? lights? temp? PH? I'm sure you can be helped.

You are at the right place.

just looking at the plants i'd guess a ph issue or undernute. But I'm afraid I don't work with coco so cannot tell you what the ph should be for it. I'm sure someone else who knows about coco will be able to tell you......just not me, sorry.

good luck.

I don't think its nute burn from my mix. I have used the same mix before with no troubles. It could have been from a tea that i gave them or perhaps pH but that is not much amendments for an organic mix.

I'm no expert, but it looks like an issue with Ph & possible nute burn. If you havent already, flush them and check the run off. That should give you a better idea.

When problems arise the easiest way to resolve em, is flush, flush, flush, and start over.

ok then....

what was in the tea you give them?
1/3c of kelp meal, bat and bird guano, ewc, and 4tbsp molasses i think that's it. I did however not dilute when i gave it to them but i had done this before with no problems. Im thinking either pH or too strong a tea. What do you guys think?

I use GH coco Coir and Botanicare Coco based nutes. My theory is that the ph is off. ph for coco needs to be around 5.6 to 6.5. I like to keep mine about 5.6. I use coco based nutes because they are designed to work with coco. What you are using for ferts is not. Second. I think your way overdoing it on the nutes. I only give them 1 quarter nutes for the first couple of weeks and then I gradually bring it up. Also, I don't use molases until the last month of flowering. I don't know if you have had success using it in veg. Hope they get well.

This is an organic coco grow. that was mixed in 5 gallons of water and brewed for 24 hours. I think it was the pH though im not sure how it got all out of whack. I have used this mix and this tea before with no problems. any way i have flushed and they already look better. I think it was pH. The molasses is for the microbial life in the tea.
