And heres the best I can do to describe the story and the problem :joint:
Recieved cuttings late at night in a plastic wendys cup full of Im guessing just water. Had no access to soil for the time being so I put them each in their own cup of fresh tap water (ph 6.5). The next morning they were all placed in plastic beer cups using Fox Farms Light Warrior as the medium. They were watered heavily with tap water (my water filter on my sink comes out at 6.5 ph water) and 1ml/gal of superthrive. At this time I noticed all the leaves seemed very twisted in a serious way. It looked like ph problems but my runoff came in at 6.5 (if this gh test kit is any good). There was also some internodal chlorosis the resembled a mag def. On some of the plants the ends of the leaves were begining to brown. Also a few brown spots here and there on some of them (also led me to think there was a ph problem). After two days under fluros to get settled into the new homes in the beer cups, I put them under 1000w hps at about 4ft away. Slowly lowered over the last two days, at about 3ft now. The plants look much more perky, and alot of the leaves are straighting out. There just a couple plants that still look really twisty. There still alot of yellow tho. Some plants it seems just internodal, other a majority of the whole leaves appear yellow, some really pale, almost a white. Dont really think its light bleaching, had this under fluros too, unless they were burnt when I got them. I have no idea if anyone can make an educated guess from my ramblings, but I'd appreciate any input I could get. I just watered again yesterday with the same thing. (1ml/gal superthrive, 6.5ph) Should I hit them with some cal mag? Im running Cutting Edge Solutions full nutriet line, and Liquid Karma as an additive. Anything I should give them at this point? Theyve been out of an aero cloner and in dirt for 5 days now. Sorry if this is too much to read, just trying to be as detailed as I can without a camera.

Dude, you need to lay off the superthrive a little. 1 mg/gal is INSANE for ST. You're supposed to use 1 drop per gallon. The difference is 20x in those 2 units of measure.

Start em on 1/4-1/2 strength nutes with the LK at 1/2 strength. 3ml/gal of calmag won't hurt em either...

It says 1ml/gallon on the bottle. I just used the recommended dose. Thats what I've always done before, without problems.. Anywho, thanks for the other advice, I think Im actually gonna transplant give an day or two then hit em with the nutes, with the doses you recommended....hmm...

Maybe it isn't 1ml/gallon now that I think about it....whatever it is, I used what is says to on the bottle, :bongsmi: :kos:

too much superthrive can cause your plants to twist and deform, sandmans right about 1 drop/ gallon. When I first started growing I learned the hard way what too much superthrive does to your plants. I would lay off the karma from now on until they are older, get a bearing of what your plants need from your regular nutes, and if you think you have got the hang of it, throw in the karma.

Yeah, I haven't added anything but the superthrive yet. They were all twisted when I got them, before any superthrive was added. I just checked the bottle, it did say the recommended dose was 1ml per gallon of water. Should I not go by that? Its weird, I've used the superthrive for a long time, always just what it said on the bottle, and never had any problems......

hi Irie,
listen to the others as superthrive is extremely concentrated. I use half a drop per gallon. 1 ml is way too much.

Superthrive is not a nutrient either, it is a plant hormone. You should be feeding a main NPK nutrient and then maybe use the superthrive to make your plants grow a bit faster. Do not replace your main nute with superthrive.
That would be the equivalent of raisng a baby by not feeding it but pumping it up with vitamin c tablets all day long...
